What are the odds Dipietro gets in another goalie fight when/if he comes back? Has to be astronomical.

Yet another Parise thread shut down. Honestly though, that one wasn't anywhere near as bad as some of the other ones have been, hence why it lasted a lot longer I suppose.

Yeah, I'm not sure why that one was shut down....with the exception of a few posters, I thought most fans were pretty well behaved.

Although according to some in that thread, you'd think we signed some washed-up scrub.

According to the league, we were the loudest team on Twitter this week! Just more proof that we have the best fans in the NHL!

What would Red Wings fans be tweeting about? All those off-season moves the team has been doing?

What fans? The Joe is half empty every time they play and I'm not even being sarcastic.

Oh, that's because so many fans are up and around walking and getting concessions. Duh.
Some Detty fans are just delusional

Their regular season GDTs are pretty deserted too.

Past & Present NHL Punching Bags
I'm kinda surprised nobody mentioned Brad Staubitz but it's probably because most people remember the famous Tootoo fight.

Still not nearly as empty as most of the sun belt arena's and certainly Phoenix is on a regular basis.
I like though how they said "loud" without specifying though, loud about the lack of moves me thinks.

Detroit is somewhere between second and fifth lowest physical attendance in the league. Only Phoenix is clearly lower. Dallas's dip last year was mostly due to the lack of an owner for 2/3 of the year, and should return to much higher than Detroit levels next season. Columbus and NYI could be lower as well, but neither of those teams is in the "sun belt."

Do you know where we can find the physical attendance figures? The only figures I can find are the paid attendance on espn.com, which shows Detroit at #4 in the NHL.
I understand that paid attendance is very different than actual butts in the seats, but I can't find those stats...
