Lightning prospect Cory Conacher a 3year, .900k per season entry level deal, 2way

and Hurricanes prospect Jeremy Welsh to a 3y, $1M per season entry level deal, 2way

"Always happy to add some more depth. Welsh should be an NHL player this year and Conacher was AHL rookie of the year last year."

Are we still allowed to challenge trades? If so, can I challenge this one?

Poor Tampa.

Are Roman Cervenka, Brandon Manning, and Mark Barberio claimed? If not, Tampa will sign them to entry level deals.

I dont believe in Nino at all...and I get Ballard off the books and Komisarek is gone after this year. I will have a young, controllable defence of Schultz, Bouwmeester, Hamonic, Rielly, Orlov and Clendening in the future when my team is competitive.

Trading Block

Jiri Hudler
Shane Doan
Olli Jokinen
Taylor Pyatt
Steve Bernier
Martin Havlat
Brooks Orpik
Carlo Colaicovo
Luke Adam
Quinton Howden
Ty Rattie
Steve Mason
Jonas Enroth

Looking for a top 4 offensive d-man. Willing to package a forward + a D for one maybe more.

If you inquire about Mason or Enroth I would be needing a good goalie in return of some sort.

Confirm, Nino has taken a step back but we will take a chance on him, and We hope Ballard can bring it together to be a top 4 Dman

I'm ok with you guys offering prospects that are unsigned contracts. But if you are offering me contracts to players that are actually useful to a team now I'm most likely going to turn it down and assign the unsigned players to terrible teams or teams with no GM's. Usually if a decent team signs someone like a Cervenka they are just going to trade him anyways. I want these players going to teams where they will be useful.

I wasnt going to trade Cervenka, I want to move Kostitsyn, Fisher, Bouchard and Connolly...but i am ok with that.

On another note, looking to move 1 dman, either Bouwmeester, Stuart, Morris, Kuba or Komisarek and will also move any forward not named Fleischmann, Brunner or Stalberg. I am also open to moving any prospect not named Kreider, Rielly, Clendening, Schultz and Vatanen....I have too many dmen and too many forwards so looking to package several off...not asking for a lot in return for most things!

After Dallas Stars placed Brian Boucher on waivers and he was not claimed he was put in the minors.

Trade Block
Paul Martin
Dan Ellis
Brian Boucher
Brent Regner
Nick Ross
Brandon Whitney

Martin I'm hoping to get a 2nd round pick or maybe a 3rd round pick. The rest of them could all go together for a 3rd round pick.

Some B and C level prospects we are looking to get rid of:
Phillipe Danault, Kyle Beach, Max Friberg, Jimmy Hayes, Jaime Arniel, Brock Beaukeboom, Troy Hesketh, Joonas Nattinen, Max Gardiner.

Looking to package some of these prospects for picks and or a higher end Dman prospect.
PM me

Something I think we should consider next year for free agency is a veto to free agent signings. I think some of the cap hits for some players are very generous and make it easy for some teams to just stack their roster. I think if a team signs say Sidney Crosby for a 5 year 5 million per year deal we should be able to veto it with 1/2 votes or something. Same with unfair trades. Obviously JM can have the final say or something.

I think commish veto power is enough. When individuals start voting, it becomes more about "what's in it for me" kind of thing, instead of what's best for the league.
