I'm disappointed in Brazil's beach volleyball uniform. It's live NBCS right now.

It's difficult to say how France and Iceland look right now, the only real test those teams had was when they played eachother and Iceland came out on top. France's defense (their biggest strenght in years past) doesn't look too good right now and Iceland is playing hot-cold right now. If we keep playing as good of a defense as we're playing right now gold is in our sights.

I think you can watch handball using this link:

That's great to hear. Thanks for the tip with the link.

I think handball is a sport that should fit hockey fans. It's fast and has a good blend of physicality and skill. If you haven't watched a game before, give it a shot.

Besides the handball, I have thoroughly enjoyed the mens volleyball tournament. Great tv sport.

It's ok. I think it tries to hard to be a major sport. And yes, Ivan I know it's popular in Europe. There is just something about it that I just don't like for some reason. Maybe it reminds me too much of basketball, soccer, and hockey put into one. And I would watch those sports before I would watch handball.

I prefer Rugby as my 3rd favourite sport.

E: I am surprised because I dislike the Summer Olympics, but this year has been pretty damn solid and have fully enjoyed; Waterpolo, Men's Volleyball, and rowing. Soccer and swimming IMO suck in the Olympic and so far haven't watched any second of it .

But seriously, if you don't like it that's fine by me.

EDIT:

Freudian, who would you rather see as Sweden's opponent in the QF's, Denmark or Spain?

Pick your poison. Either team is better than Sweden. Sweden has a nice rivalry with Denmark so perhaps it's the better opponent for us. Mikkel Hansen scares me though. Awesome player.

Yeah, he's great, but if you mark him tightly like we did with Balić you have a chance because it disrubts their entire offense. They can't get the ball to Knudsen or Toft Hansen and the rest of their backs aren't really dangerous when it comes to outside shots. Sjostrand and Andersson (goalie not RB) wil have to be on their top form as well.

I watched just the start of extra time and it was 100X better than any Euro game I watched this year. First time giving womens soccer a chance, looks to be a big mistake on my part. Too bad the Mens Olympic soccer sucks.

I also forgot how annoying some Americans can be. Almost as bad as the Canadians when it comes to hockey.

When Belarus or Kazakhstan play amazing hockey and almost beat Canada we don't go crazy in celebration. The americans are freaking out because they beat Canada at soccer, a sport we don't care about.

Ref took it from Canada. (though I didn't watch the whole game)

On a side note, I think I used to sit beside one of the girls on the Canadian team in my university tutorial.

I went to see my grandma instead of watching the game... heard the score and rushed home to watch literally the last minute and a half where the USA scored the winner....

I feel like it's all my fault. I'm in such depression. At least Morgan is like the hottest athlete at the Olympics.

Sigh. I wonder how much those refs had on USA winning that game.

I'd be fine with US winning, if the calls weren't completely and utter BS.
