It bugs me that the post game people are focussing on the hand ball and calling it a bad call. It was a hand ball, no excuse. The preceding call was terrible. That being said, three times they couldn't hold the lead. Still they must be proud of their effort.

So you are convinced it was a deliberate handle of the ball with the player's hand?

I didn't see the call but it doesn't have to be deliberate if the hands are in an unnatural position

Was I convinced it was deliberate? No. I saw the ball hit two different Canadian arms from all sorts of slo-mo angles. The ref had one chance to see it and made the call. I can't argue that call. My contention is the call leading up to it was BS and should be the focus of analysis. Unless of course, the keeper had been warned earlier, which I am unaware of.

Case in point. @LukeWileman: Christine Sinclair "I feel robbed. You never see a goalkeeper get called for six second rule." #CanWNT

It was like Chris Lee style reffing.
Grant Wahl @GrantWahl
US coach Sundhage says had never seen 6-second GK call before.

John Carlsons reply to a Cammy tweet about the refs in the game.
@JohnCarlson74 @MCammalleri13 You can take the player out of Montreal, but you can't take Montreal out of the player! #crybaby

You are wrong about this one, this is only the reply of one of John Carlson follower.
What JC tweeted was ''Lol'' about Cammy's tweet
Oh and I saw that JC and Alex Morgan might be together.

Am feeling a bit queasy about the bout with Canadian welterweight Clayton vs. a brit fighter today.
Boxing reffing and judging at the games have ranged from bizarre to incompetent to inexplicable. Also, a few Brit. athletes have been the recipients of very unbalanced decisions in their favour.
I love boxing, but I feel it should be nixed from the olympics until their international federation demonstrates competent and unbiased officiating.

Ok, saw the calls and the delay of game call was pathetic. And I would not have called that handball, it was accidental and her arm was by her side. Lame call.
While I'm a dual Canadian-US citizen and would normally cheer for the US vs Japan, I find the women's team kind of annoying with their planned goal celebrations etc. So I might cheer for Japan in the final. Though to be honest, I don't really care who wins

The olympics and especially women's soccer .... makes no difference in the world at the end of the day.
