Completely agree. She's done that a couple times. Just get rid of it and reset the defense.

Scott -- that knee looked bad. Holy crap, she's staying in. Edit - nope, sorry. She's coming out. Edit 2 - nope, she's back. Takes leather balls to play soccer....

Pretty much. Sad that one of them has to lose.

Awesome game, but the 3-3 goal shouldn't have happened.

I hate the handball call in situations like that, but the indirect that was awarded because the goaltender took too long on the goal kick is so rare.
Weird time to pull that one out.

Upon seeing the replay..... "Handball" call was absolutely the right call...

She flared her arm/elbow out... under the rules that is a handball.

I'm shocked they called the goalie for taking too much time. I don't think I've ever seen that call before.

I can only remember it one time and it was unfortunately in a game that I was playing in, but it was blatant.
Our goalie was a showboating ********* and liked to do crap like that.

He also got scored on once because he thought it'd be a good idea to hang on the crossbar for fun during a game.

I assume you and your teammates wanted to kill him.

You should have pulled a Souare and ninja kicked him in the face.

yeah, i watch ALOT of football and i can't even recall a time that happened. Maybe the ref's where told to be very strict to the rules?

But still, it seems harsh.

Yeah, but not necessarily because of either of those incidents.

He was annoying all of the time but we'd grown used to it.

I'm sure some of us wanted to but reality did it for us.

He started to lose his starting spot to a JV call up when he was a junior and is now apparently like a fifth stringer at community college, last I heard.

And for anyone wondering:
