My mom actually did a lot of the painting tbh. Helps that she's a huge Stars' fan too, though.

that should be good, I bet both put on a show.

As for Imagine Dragons, their most famous song is It's Time but another one of their songs (Radioactive) is used in NBCs Chicago Fire tv program commercial. The whole EP is awesome
Here's It's Time

People would introduce themselves and then never post again so it got un-stickied. The actual name is "Roll Call" and I'm sure it's around here somewhere.

You guys been noticing threads not changing to bold lettering when people post in them in the past day or so?

I've had the exact opposite problem. Have to click it two or three times to not be bold.

Been at my new job a month now and today they gave me a "bonus" of a $50 HEB gift card for doing so well. I'm already matching the production of the guy next to me who has been there over a year and I'm making less mistakes. Nice to be noticed, even if it's not a huge reward.

That's awesome. Hope it keeps working out well. What exactly are you doing?

This was just weird, but so cool. We pulled up to a stop-light, and I glance over at the car next to us (I'm in the passenger seat), just out of habit. The guy driving had a live parrot on his shoulder. Guess he saw me looking or something, waved, so I waved back, AND THE PARROT WAVED BACK AT ME.

I really enjoy going to Central Market. Market Street (HEB) or the Hippie Store (Whole Foods) are also decent substitutes but I really really enjoy going to Central Market...

Decided to buy this tonight... The only names they had were Modano, Ciccarelli, Bellows, and Broten. Almost went with Dino instead.

Oh man, I've been craving chili like mad recently. I can't find half the spices here that I need to make it.

What, they don't have Korean chili to go with Korean BBQ?

Nice shirt also. I've been tempted by the Ciccarelli one too. Don't like the "Minnesota North Stars" text on the front though.

Yeah, I didn't like that either, but I was jonesing for some green Stars gear.

Also, I just watched the move Safe Men with Steve Zaun, Paul Giamatti, Mark Ruffalo, etc. and it was really funny and has a bunch of hockey gear and a funny hockey twist at the end. I highly recommend it to everyone. I hadn't heard of it before tonight and was thoroughly impressed.

No...and I wouldn't trust them with it if they did.

There is a really nice stew that you can get with your rice at most BBQ places; the broth is so good it makes you wanna let it cool a bit and just drink from the bowl.

In 8 hours I'll be in Memphis, en route to my new home. I'm gonna miss Texas.
