With the Ivan Hlinka roster out I'd like to know who the best '95 born Canadian goaltending prospect is. I have 5 in mind.

Eric Comrie
Comrie and Fucale were selected for the Ivan Hlinka, but some seem to have questioned Hockey Canada's decision making in the past (See: Olivier Roy). Did we make the right choice this time around? Is there anyone else out there that deserves mention other than these 5? Thanks in advance.

Yeah it was a pretty simple decision according to people who were there. Fucale apparently showed that he was the clear-cut starter and it was a bit of a toss up for back-up but Comrie definitely proved his worth.
Fucale's fantastic. shame his d in front of him is TERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIBLE. hoping that'll improve as I plan on following mooseheads a bit more next season

KA is one of the leagues best D, and has 4 other stay at home guys who are solid, as shown in the playoffs... So it's not really TERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIBLE...

Konnie's decision making is questionable sometimes. Hopefully that gets cleaned up. Fucale will definitely have a great season no matter what his d are like.
From the OHL, we should see a number of 95 goalies playing a bigger role this year.
Spencer Martin will get lots of opportunity to establish himself this year with the Steelheads. He definitely goes into the season as the top prospect for the draft next year.
Jordan DeKort will have a good opportunity with the Spitfires. He has great size and mobility, and had a strong season in Jr. B last year.
Alex Fotinos will have a chance to continue his upward growth with the Colts. He should split the season at the very least.
Charlie Grahame will be with the Bulls this season, after a season up and down between the Bulls and Jr. A last season. Great mobility and instinct.
Michael Guigivaz should have a better opportunity with the Petes this season after a stellar year in Jr. A last year.
Evan Morse may have his opportunity with the Attack this season.
Devon Williams will play a bigger role with the Otters this year. He will be on the American entry to the Ivan Hlinka next week.
Ken Appleby will suit up for the Generals this year. Another goalie with great size.
Jack Moylan should be getting more games with the Rangers this season after backing up much of last year.
Jason Dasilva will likely be backing up with the Storm this season.
Lucas Perissini is likely to be with the Spirit this season after a very strong year playing Midget hockey last season.
Justin Nichols will be getting time in the Soo after playing Prep School hockey last season.
That is twelve 95 born goalies likely playing in the OHL this season (I would say nine of them for sure). To put that into perspective, there were only 3 94 born goalies who played significant roles with their teams last season. It is an incredibly deep position in Ontario for the 95 age group.
I would look at Martin, DeKort, Fotinos, and Appleby to be the best shots at getting drafted next June. It should be a great year to watch these goalies grow.

Those are the stats so far this year from their perfomances in the O, can't agree with your all your suggestions on who will be drafted, let me know if I missed some other 95 goalies playing that I missed
Winning the "Best prospect name of the year" award, Storm Phaneuf [Blainville-Boisbriand Armada] from what I've heard is probably going to be a draft-worthy prospect.
Note though - If my memory on his birth date is right, he's a 2014 draft eligible player.

I like Desrosiers quite a bit. I'd rather pick him in the 50-70 range than pick Fucale or Martin in the 20-30 range. Not saying the latter two are not first round prospects but rather speaking stricly value-wise.

They were and still are terrible. KA is far from good defensively.
Good news for Mooseheads fans is they don't have to be good with those forwards + that goalie

Agreed, Desrosiers is a very good prospect
I think he will be the starter in Rimouski after the trading period
Care to explain why? I consider him underrated, the way he caried the Steelheads at the begining of the year when everyone was playing awful was superb. He's cooled down recently but he hasn't had to be has good as he was earlier now that the team is playing well.

When I have watched him he has been steady but not spectacular, good team defence surrounds him as well

Fair points, last time I saw him was vs Ottawa a few weeks ago where he was a little shakey. Consistency is an issue, but when he's on his game there's not much better.
Watched Martin live today for the first time since the u17 in Windsor.
Like the way he moves around the crease in an effortless way. Looks like he is very athletic. Easy to see how talented he is - just needs to put it all together. Mississauga isn't an overly deep team, he really carried them early on.
Jack Flinn is an underrated guy people should keep their eyes on. He's 6'6" and plays for the expansion Sherbrooke Phoenix. His .876% and 4.34 GAA don't look the greatest statistically but he's having a strong season thus far.
