if we fill 30 spots, are we going to play all season games? like how would this work. When two teams play, do i play the user of the team or the cpu (playing as the users team)?
You play the user of the team not the computer unless the user wants to set it up that way.
You can choose to just coach your team if you really wanted to and never play a game and just manage it. But otherwise you will be playing the user playing as his team. If you watch the video they show how you can set up your league. For example:
I can set it up so we play the two weeks of the season in one week (7 real time days) so you can match make whenever is best for you two, but you can play the games out of order it just has to be a game in the first two weeks of the season. So if you have 4 games against the computer you can just play them all in a row (no matter when they layout in the first two weeks of the season) and get to the user ones when it's good for you both.
This is what i've got from the video and reading up a bit on GM Connected. I could be wrong but thats what I think. By the way, we can all discuss the timetables we want to do.
examples: Two weeks in the regular season for seven days in real time.
A month in the regular season for 14 days in real time. etc... etc...
We are still missing a few regulars from the x box league this year so we should be set once they see.
Im really looking forward to the realism this will bring to playing a franchise mode. Seeing playoff teams load up on veteran players to help their run or teams dumping expiring contracts to get additional draft picks for the future. Love it.
