Intern Adam Breaks Ankle, Sues Preds

Extra Extra, Read all about it HERE. Intern Adam from The River participated in a trial run of the Human Puck intermission game and broke his ankle, now he is trying to sue the Preds.

If it's just to cover his surgery bills, I have no problem, but if he's ambulance chasing ... go play in traffic ... and one other thing ... if this doesn't prove that this sport is dangerous, i don't know what will

Wasn't he working at the time? Should be a workers comp injury.

Watched the video, completely his fault. He stuck his legs out and he kept them out before crashing...stupid thing to do.

Should be workman's comp. Intern at a radio station, radio station should be covering the costs.

I don't think he's really an intern, anyway. If so, he needs to know that after 5 years, if they haven't hired you they aren't gonna. Ha!

As someone who works in the Nashville radio market, I can confirm that "Intern" Adam is no longer a intern. He started in the market as an intern, but that has long since passed.

He shouldn't have any medical costs. That's what workers comp is for.

While $25K is chump change (compared to, ya know, Weber's $13m bonus)... it'll be interesting to hear how it plays out.

25,000 for a broken ankle is not medical costs. Medical costs would be around $5,000 max he's hoping to hide the real costs with extra fees and make money. He's just as bad as the injury lawyers.

Been in for surgery lately? It's expensive, he likely also had to go for some rehab plus medication, also did he ride in an ambulance?. I don't doubt that $25k is pretty close to accurate, though i'm sure there's some padding in there too. This isn't some ridiculous cash grab by any stretch.

The only reason we're talking about this is because it's August 7th and it's the only news associated with the Preds since Weber signed.
