I am sure they will fight again this series, although wouldn't it be Janssen vs. Hollweg Round 4, 2006 Playoffs Round 2?

Right now Janssen is 2-0-1 in this series, although I give Hollweg a lot of credit for the heart he shows.

Correct.. 1 in the preseason and 1 at MSG. Both Janssen mashings... Both are fun to watch when on the ice.. I love how Janssen juss glides along the ice lookin to explode on someone.. Looks like Brian Urlacher on skates

You just look at him and you can tell he's not the person to mess with because he's got that fierce look on his face. Even his black mouthguard is bad ***.

Only if the Rangers are leading the game. Besides, if White plays Janssen may not to make room for a 7th defenceman.

That being said.. hell yeah I hope for a round 2.

i agree, he does know his role...not the best fighter, but not afraid to step up at all.

id dress orr and immonen for tonights game scratch betts and Hossa. Immonen would add more scoring than Betts. Orr would add some grit.

really? you'd play Orr over Hossa?

I also believe we'll see a round 2, but Janssen is smart and by now, he knows when to not rock the boat. So it may or may not be tonight.

I wouldn't want to mess with him because he looks like a freakin mental patient when he fights. His eyes bulge, his neck strains...jesus.

No BSiing this time, I agree on Janssen he looks a little unhiinged at times (like the Psycho Purinton) but, unlike Purinton, knows when to reign it in....

I'll tell you what, Ranger fans may love Hollweg (as they should) and Devil fans may love Janssen (as they should), but damn if these two players won't make for some interesting games over the coming years. (not to mention days)..

Haha, as I was reading the bottom part, I thought you said, but damn if these two players were on the same line... hahahaha That would be a sight worth seeing.

Here is what Lou was really saying to Cam on the bench:

Quote:
CAM FIRED UP: Cam Janssen once again had quite a night...
when Colton Orr received an interference penalty late in the first period for taking a run at Scott Gomez, Janssen goaded him from the bench, nodding and grinning at the Ranger grinder across the ice.
Lou Lamoriello, sensing Janssen was about to go off the deep end, patted him on the back and repeatedly said, "Calm down." Or at least that's what it looked like his lips were saying.
"We were talking about what to have for dinner," Lamoriello said with a smile.
How about some raw steaks?

Did anyone hear Doc Emrick talk about Janssen being too fired up the night before game one? Cam called home to St. Louis to tell his dad, and Mr. Janssen started yelling because he was so excited for his son. Doc said, "I guess we know where he gets it."

Lou said that at the press conference after the game. They showed it on Hockey Night New Jersey Live. Lou Lamoriello said it with a seriousness at first and then a big smile grew across his face.

Haha. Lou cracking a joke--unbelievable! Yeah, I remember someone during the press conference on Hockey New York Live! asked what he said to Janssen. He said something that made everyone laugh but I missed it.

Someone get me a pic of Janssen and his evil grin so I can incorporate it into my avatar.

Janssen also flattened Dominic Moore with a shoulder. Then, when Colton Orr received an interference penalty late in the first period for taking a run at Scott Gomez, Janssen goaded him from the bench, nodding and grinning at the Ranger grinder across the ice

haha oh man, i love cam
