Tanner Glass from a Canucks or Jets fan POV would be great.

Some of you guys should pick up the McKeen's yearly fantasy pool guide. Has a detailed paragraph on each players strengths and sometimes weaknesses though not for bottom 6 players or bottom pairing dmen usually.

What Tanner Glass does not have in talent he makes up with energy and a good characther. Tanner Glass has been noted to have below nhl standard offensive skill. He will consistently miss the net and does not capatalize his chances often. He is not a good passer and has poor hands. Though Glass has poor offensive abilities he makes it up with work ethic. Glass will always make a hit or take the hit if it means making the play. Glass will always play his game with lots enerygy as if each shift was his last. Glass is ratherly average in his own zone with his positioning. Glass is a great locker room guy who knows his role.

Sorry it was not longer and if it is hard to understand

Good passer that always has his head up
good hockey sense
has already looked comfortable playing big minutes
physicality of his game is picking up as he adds weight to his frame 6'1 196.

Cons:
Can be lazy somewhat positionally defensively and rely too much on his skating
lacks a quality NHL point shot
did not look comfortable being the triggerman on the PP
sometimes outthinks himself in the defensive zone making an ill-advised reversal or cross ice pass to an unsuspecting teammate.
Needs better stick positioning and stick work
needs to add strength to be better along the boards and clearing the crease

A lot of Cam's cons have to do with him being unfairly forced in to a position of being a top pairing defenseman and a PP QB in his 2nd season in the league.

Sneaky around the net
Good along the boards in the O zone
Good work ethic
Good passer
Good hockey sense offensively

Cons:
Not very physical and doesn't seem to be very strong
Lacks a quality shot
Skates poorly although he took huge strides last season
Poor on the dot
Defensive positioning needs work

Did my best, probably homered it up a bit.

Quite well. Very solid defensively, as expected, and showing a bit of an offensive touch. Not very physical, but that could come with age and maturity, and he might be a bit hesitant considering his size compared to others.

Still see him as a top 4, maybe top pairing shutdown defenseman who doesn't put up more than 25-30 points a year. Able to absolutely rock people sometimes, and very consistent physically.

Might push for a spot next season, but he'll likely have to wait until '13-'14 to get on Dallas' roster.

Colin Greening from Ottawa, saw him in a couple games last year, seemed like a real promising young player. Maybe some of you from the east can give the run-down?

-Take shift even games off.
-Bad shot blocker
-Not good at blocking lane of passes in his on zone.
-Average speed and acceleration.
-Try dangerous passes
-Doesn't really feed well his teammate.

Pros

-Good speed, pivots, and lateral agility on his skates
-Is relied on as a puck carrier, and makes good exits with both his feet and his passing
-Accurate breakout passer
-Above average offensive instincts, and rarely makes bad pinches
-100MPH+ slapshot, but does not display it much due to an extended wind-up and a general lack of confidence in his own shooting
-Accurate wrist shot with an OK release
-Plays positionally
-Top 3 stick checker in the league, with pokes and sweep checks taking pucks off even elite stick handlers regularly

Cons

-Can be overwhelmed physically, especially by puck carriers coming out of corners
-Displays a certain lack of confidence and still makes raw defensive mistakes
-Rarely punishes players physically - no real 'swagger' to his game
-Can be tentative offensively, especially if facing tougher opposition

- Great in the locker room. He brought the Islanders together after the Pittsburgh game.

Cons:
- No offensive skills whatsoever.
- He may fight a lot, but he doesn't always win.
- Takes some bad penalties at bad times.

Taylor Hall

Pros:

-Fearless and relentless in the opposition zone - constantly probing for gaps and physical mismatches to bring the puck and his body into scoring areas
-Excellent/elite top speed and acceleration, above average agility
-Can receive and handle pucks at speed
-Can shoot mid-stride, has a very heavy wrist shot, and can pick corners
-Excellent stick handler, and isn't afraid to challenge defencemen one on one with speed or skill
-Defensively eager, and works hard in all three zones
-Already displaying an assertive power game that should improve as he bulks up

Cons:

-Still lacks a top-end defensive game
-Can mismanage the puck on the Powerplay
-Inconsistent passer - makes both elite and very poor passes
-Reckless play may contribute to missing games - already has two fairly serious injuries early in his career

RNH

Pros:

-World class passer with elite vision and tremendous patience
-Incredibly agile and slippery - hard to hit or contain, and moves laterally as well as almost anyone in the league
-Surprising first step and top speed
-Accurate wrist shot with a quick release
-Works very hard - especially in defensive zone, and shadows defensive assignments intelligently
-Uses additional space on the power play extremely well, in baiting opposition or finding seam passes
-Plays with a much heavier stick then his frame indicates

Cons:

-Can be dominated physically in defensive situations, and he will still occasionally make poor defensive decisions
-Will sometimes over pass the puck
-Can play a quiet game that will render him somewhat unnoticeable for a couple periods
