Taylor Hall
Pros:
-Fearless and relentless in the opposition zone - constantly probing for gaps and physical mismatches to bring the puck and his body into scoring areas
-Excellent/elite top speed and acceleration, above average agility
-Can receive and handle pucks at speed
-Can shoot mid-stride, has a very heavy wrist shot, and can pick corners
-Excellent stick handler, and isn't afraid to challenge defencemen one on one with speed or skill
-Defensively eager, and works hard in all three zones
-Already displaying an assertive power game that should improve as he bulks up
Cons:
-Still lacks a top-end defensive game
-Can mismanage the puck on the Powerplay
-Inconsistent passer - makes both elite and very poor passes
-Reckless play may contribute to missing games - already has two fairly serious injuries early in his career
RNH
Pros:
-World class passer with elite vision and tremendous patience
-Incredibly agile and slippery - hard to hit or contain, and moves laterally as well as almost anyone in the league
-Surprising first step and top speed
-Accurate wrist shot with a quick release
-Works very hard - especially in defensive zone, and shadows defensive assignments intelligently
-Uses additional space on the power play extremely well, in baiting opposition or finding seam passes
-Plays with a much heavier stick then his frame indicates
Cons:
-Can be dominated physically in defensive situations, and he will still occasionally make poor defensive decisions
-Will sometimes over pass the puck
-Can play a quiet game that will render him somewhat unnoticeable for a couple periods
