For the record, I liked that episode. Kinda gave the "infected/zombie" genre a good spin.

Those Dalek plushes cost about $20-30ish at Frys. Lotta fun to squeeze. I even saw TARDIS cookie jars and collector's coffee mugs there. $30

I hated that episode because it freaked me the **** out. It was the last one that I watched (I started at season 5 and then went back through from 1) because I sort of forgot about it. So I was really excited to find one that I hadn't watched 6 months after I thought I'd finished, and then it was ****ing horribly terrifying and then it ended really sadly.

But yeah, I need to get me one of those.

It wasn't exactly buried, it WAS Charon (one of pluto's moons). Just completely covered in ice. They found the location of the relay on Mars though.

And you aren't following Doctor Who on FB? Currently running contest for greatest female on show. Quarter finals:

Rose vs Donna
and
Sarah Jane vs Leela

Already voted for Sarah Jane, best and all time greatest. Not a fan of Rose and I don't have an opinion on Donna. Leela was pretty good, liked the combo with her and K9.

Nice quality color image of the heat shield coming off of MSL during descent (I believe this was at ~2m until touchdown)

If there's any bacteria at all there, we probably won't hear about it for a while (unless it's easy to find, which I doubt)

I know. But teasing me with random shots of the red desert isn't helping.

It's out on freaking Mars, but stops to take a picture of itself? What is this, a multi-million dollar piece of technology? or an insecure camera *****ing teenage girl?

Multi-billion dollar piece of technology

In all seriousness, they just raised the mast today and took the picture so they could inspect the rover for any damage

I was going to go see that new one against my better judgement because the previews actually looked decent... Then I heard it isn't just bad, it's god awful, worst movie of the year... heh. Why did that movie need to be remade again?

Also, Mars Attacks is an insanely underrated film.
