well I've already spent about 40 hours playing the game and the last session they had back during the draft they said there wouldnt be any major changes to the game from then to the release day I'm still hoping they added hitting ur own players/goalies accidentally back in as they took it out after the 1st build.

a lot different. Throw pretty much how u play the game out the window and learn again, thats how different it is because of the skating. If u make bad decisions on when to go for a hit or try to get to the puck 1st or poke check and u miss or decide ur not going to beat the guy or get him and change ur mind ur done for unless u change ur mind with enough of a gap to start backpeddling before the foward reaches u, but even then if u just started back peddling and the foward is at full speed ur getting blown by

Last question. How does the hitting look? Last year it looked really un realistic.
anyone know if lets say Jordan Staal signed that 6 million per contract but it doesnt start until 2013/2014, will it be included after his current contract or will i get to negotiate that?

I think it will start in 2013-2014. Right now he will have his current contract, and then the new one will kick in after this season.

Idk in NHL 12 as soon as that new contract was signed it was implemented into the game the next update and the new cap hit took over for this year instead of just starting the year after

a lot better although some un-realistic hits still happen each game I had D.Sedin score a goal while getting hit and he went flying up out over my screen almost reached the height of the glass n fell it was like a super smash brothers too much damage KO hahaha but I think that was the only time it happened ever and they fixed it. Hoping hitting ur own teammates isnt a feature they are saving for NHL 14.
