As I said in a PM conversation with Mason10, you never know with EA's ratings. I know I won't be making any trades until I can see the ratings unless I have a feeling it is really fair. Just so you know - IRL value is not equal to the IG value, and that's why I prefer to wait. I would be mad if I gave up a lot of value for a prospect (let's say Coyle for example) to see he's rated as ****.

i agree with this, if you and someone else come to terms you can say it is pending on ratings or if you are sure of the value you can say that it is 100 confirmed

I'm down with a trading block but also agree on waiting until game comes out to do trades. If others want to trade before then, it's fine, but I'm personally waiting until rosters are set and I see all of the ratings before I make any moves.

That's actually really smart. Like some people have said though, not going to consider trades yet until I see the ratings for my team. Don't want to get fleeced yet. I'll wait till the game comes out then I'll get fleeced.

I am thinking to put the difficulty on Superstar so that your team rankings can be used in order to determine the winner. Not how good you are as a player. Now of course the human element always plays its part which is why I did not make this a SIM only league.
