Whoa, Gerbe looks a lot bulkier than Myers, just look at their biceps. I got a lot of respect for Gerbe, despite being so small he is still a really gritty guy. I knew Gerbe was strong but when comparing those two, Gerbe makes Myers look like he hasn't visited the weight room at all.
Optical illusion due to the fact that he's 2 feet shorter.

Maybe it has something to do with his bicep muscle being about half the length of Myers'.
If he really wants to be the next MSL he'll need the Flames to release him in a few years.
You're hilarious
But seriously John Gadreau will turn heads at the next wjc. Desharnais is probably the closest at this point.
Thing is, st.louis is one of a kind. I dont see anyone of his stature playing at his level for at least a few years, that is, until Gadreau comes along

I want to say it is Gerbe that I remember hearing the story each night after hockey practice his dad would put the car in neutral and he would push the car up his over a mile long driveway. That is what he credits his leg strength with or so the legend goes as far as a rumor I remember hearing when he was a local talent in the area.

Hard to tell how much of a midget some of these guys actually are.
Remember that they were listing Wayne Gretzky at 6'1" and 195 lbs on some hockey cards in the '90s. Its been scaled back to being 6'0" and 185 lbs. when you look up his stats now.
But honestly, he was probably closer to 5'10" and a bit and 175 lbs.
So when looking at guys listed between 5'7" and 5'9", probably shave an inch or two off and you are closer. Sure, a few are probably actually their listed height, but a guy like St. Louis or Gerbe? Probably an inch or two shorter than listed. They might be 5'7" while wearing skates though.
David Desharnais almost certainly. Not only does he have a French-Canadian name, but he produced phenominally on the top line for the Canadiens with 60 points last season. If anyone does it, it'll be him.

Jared Spurgeon's height has to be on skates. No way he is over 5' 7"
