No they weren't. All of those guys I mentioned were high school draftees. Well, Felix was signed as a 16-year old free agent and he made his MLB debut at 19. The other guys I mentioned spent only 1-2 full years in the minors after getting drafted at 18. Zach Lee is not ready this year, I agree. But he better be next year.
Doc was a college arm and he was pretty awefull until his 4th year in the majors due to injuries and and mechanics. I'm pretyy sure Madison was a college arm out of Tulsa. For some reason when you said Cain, it registered as Timmy Franchise.
Again, Lee has not pitched much in his life. His prospect star has been full projection due to his smooth delivery and pitchability but he is still learning how to pitch. They knew he'd be 2 to 3 years upon drafted.

You can check for yourselves. They were all drafted out of HS. Doc was born in 1977 and he was drafted by Toronto in 1995 = 18 years old. And you know how college players can't be drafted until they are 21 or after their junior year is finished.
By 2 to 3 years, that would mean sometime next year since Lee was drafted in 2010.
EDIT: Here's how it all went down with the pitchers I mentioned:
Roy Halladay, born May 14, 1977, drafted by Toronto in 1995 (MLB debut at 21)
CC Sabathia, born July 21, 1980, drafted by Cleveland in 1998 (MLB debut at 20)
Matt Cain, born October 1, 1984, drafted by San Francisco in 2002 (MLB debut at 20)
Clayton Kershaw, born March 19, 1988, drafted by Los Angeles in 2006 (MLB debut at 20)
Madison Bumgarner, born August 1, 1989, drafted by San Francisco in 2007 (MLB debut at 20)

Yeah, I went and did my own investigating after not feeling comfortable going off memory and assumptions. I was just coming here to post that you are right. Damn man. I am sorry... and pretty embarrased. I usually am amazing at memorizing stats and draft situations. I mean, my friends always play a game challeneging me with football players draft years, spot taken and schools and I get them withng 5 seconds 90 percent of the time.
No. He's a Gold Glove CF, and you want to move him to a less valuable position?
Sometimes GG awards are misleading. Victorino is a better CF anyway. Kemp's athleticism is the only reason why he is in CF. Dude has bad judgments on a lot of flyballs. I'd rather use his strong arm in RF, where the OF that has the strongest arm usually plays. But again, if we re-sign Victorino.
And great opening play. inside-the-parker by Eric Young jr.
Sorry to go off our Dodgers topic here, but is anyone else kinda excited for the start of NFL preseason tomorrow? Sure its just preseason, but its nice to have some sort of football back. Interested to see how my Chargers do with all their offseason changes.
Also crazy stoaked for the USC season finally being Bowl eligible with a stacked team.

I try to get into the NFL preseason but its just too bland for me, now College Football is a different story, I love watching a good old slobber knocker and the upsets that can dot the land of College Football.
USC should have a very good season, my concern is them falling in a trap game.
I'm also curious to see what Mora has done in Westwood, I'm not looking forward to ESPN shoving the SEC down our throats.
Sands got sent back down to make room for Kennedy and Gwynn has accepted his assignment to AAA. How the **** is Uribe still on this team and why DFA Gwynn if you arent even going to play Sands? Could Sands really be any worse then Loney/ Rivera?
Other then that, nice win tonight. Victorino was on.

Fair enough. I just think Kemp's one of the best CF in the game right now.

Speaking of Halladay, what is up with this?
Right-handed motion // left-handed arm // someone else's face
Fun that we are going to be playing each other right out the gate.
PS You guys should definitely check out the free to play fantasy EPL soccer on their official barclays site.
I've tried it the past couple of years but I lose interest because other people don't keep up and its a bit frustrating when people don't manage their teams and I still get beat.
maybe if there is enough interest we can get one going here, I know there are quite a few of us Prem supporters on the Kings board
