Percy looks like he may be a pretty good d-man in a year or two. Jenner would have fit our future needs much better overall.
I guess at the end of the day, Burke went with what he deemed to be the best player available. Percy went 25th and Jenner 37th so apparently quite a few other GMS felt the same way.

I dont think Rielly is in the game or at least I have not seen him. What he was referring to as the track race some players had the day yesterday in spirit of the Olympics where Rielly smoked Subban.

Just saw Rielly sitting on the bench... he's definetlely in the game but I haven't seen him on the ice yet.
Canada has 8 Defencemen dressed today. Rielly will probably get sheltered ice-time, mainly in offensive situations. Canada's been short handed twice which is probably why he hasn't seen the ice yet.

He's looked good, made an awesome pass to the slot from what looked like an impossible angle from behind the net on the first shift of the game.

Oh I heard his name once. What a joke. I thought Spott would give Rielly more of a chance considering he has Murphy in Kitchener and lets him do his thing. Playing Oulette and Harrington over him just because they're older is ridiculous. Typical hockey canada
