What if Subban doesnt accept any other deal and ask to leave ?
Wich team is the best partner and who's going to fill Pernel-Karl spot in the roster?
We are far , far away from having to worry about this. A deal will be reached. Look, if PK doesnt sign some deal then his only option, other than the KHL , is to sit out and while that would be bad for the Habs, it means PK would lose one of his 13-15 years of pro-hockey and he just isnt going to do that, especially since hes ours for 3 more years after that. Habs offer of $5.5 for 2 is low but cant see that they wouldnt move up to something alot more reasonable even for a year if the negotiations were faltering that badly. Their final offer wouldnt be that stupid that PK would feel he had no choice but to sit out.
There is nobody to replace PK , especially for what he promises to develop into.

other teams can make hostile offer ... so i'm looking trough this option just in case of what can be our possibility ...

Tue, but I cant imagine any team would think the Habs cant match or wont match, so I wouldnt serioulsy worry about an offer sheet. Molsons apparent, andI cant say for sure of couse, reluctance o bury Gomez and eat his salary does give a bit of concern but still cant believe he would let another team poach our player .

Not happening, it's just a negotiation right now, no big deal...truly, he will sign and wants to play for the Habs...this is all on his agent and MB right now...
I don't see Beaulieu as a future #1D. The odds are against the prospects in your lineup all making it as regulars in the big leagues, unfortunately. I'd pass on that trade.
Don't you guy's think that with Beaulieu, Tinordi, Ellis, Thrower, Emelin along with Gorges as our future on defense, maybe Sean Couturier + Marc-Andre Bourdon make us better than just having Subban?
Think of Sean Couturier, Alex Galchenyuk, Lars Eller as our top three centres.

If Couturier and our top D prospects become elite, then sure. That's a big IF though
As it stands, the only player that even comes close to being elite is going the other way. So no, that's not enough of a return to justify trading Subban
What if we trade Carey Price to Florida for Jonathan Huberdeau, do you go for that?
The way I see it, Price, Subban, Galchenyuk, and Pacioretty are nearly untradeable. We don't trade them unless it's for a gold mine.
Agreed. It makes no sense to trade them, they are our present, future and they are irreplaceable.
Sure we can replace one of Pacioretty or Subban with a Seth Jones or MacKinnon (bottom two pick guaranteed) but I'd rather have Pacioretty or Subban + a 8th or 10th overall in a deep draft than just a top5 pick with no certainty that we get the player we want (draft lottery ect.).

A realistic proposal to trade Subban to Philadelphia.
To Philadelphia:
PK Subban
Rene Bourque
To Montreal:
Sean Couturier
Wayne Simmonds
2013 1st round draft pick
Every player is tradeable given the right offer, and I think this would be the right offer for Subban: Three bars of silver from Philadelphia for one bar of gold from Montreal. In addition to giving us Couturier, they're giving us the marginal productivity of Simmonds over Bourque and taking on cap in the process, and a weak 1st rounder (probably 25th overall).
I'm not sure I would do it, but it would be worthy of consideration. Couturier for Subban straight up would just be "No thank you".
