Bottom pairing material at best. Slightly quicker on his skates than Jonathan Cheechoo, might top at 25-30 points at most. Good on him to go to the second best team in the league though.

He doesn't have the brain nor physical abilities for 60 points.

If he's not sniping, he's completely invisible. No physical game whatsoever, plays on the perimeter for the most part. He got to the NHL based on his shot, which is pretty good. There's nothing else there, IMO.

Someone here said they saw him as a 20-goal, 60 point player? Like... sure, it could happen, if the stars aligned and literally everything went absolutely perfect for him... but really, it's never going to happen. He MIGHT have the TOOLS to be that guy if he starts working on the parts of his game that don't involve shooting the puck at the net (with some glaring defensive deficiencies, however), but he simply doesn't have the toolbox to be that guy.

Anyways, good for him to get a 2nd chance at the NHL, the Devils seem to be a team that can occasionally turn guys around, and he's still young enough that he might figure it all out before he blows his last chance. Hope he does well / can stick around New Jersey for a couple of seasons.

I still think he could stick. He's not THAT bad. He still has potential. Good for him and the Devils, imo.

If he makes the team, a 12-12-24 or 15-10-25 pace would be exceeding expectations with about 12-14 mins a night. I'd expect 18 to 20 points, anything more is gravy - again, if he makes the team.

I really love that 3rd line. If those 3 can produce to their full potential, I can see a great year for the devils's 3rd line

And we have found the replacement for Ponikarovsky on the third line. Nice work Lou!

If that's the Devils 3rd line, opposing offenses will have a field day. Henrique will be left to defend all by himself; that is if Butlers D is what I've heard it is, which is not good. Tedenby's D is non-existent. I'd actually feel bad for Henrique trying to cover for them.

Lou knows what he's doing. If he turned into a Michael Ryder-type that would be amazing. Hell, 20-20 I'd be ecstatic.

Don't get your hopes up.

Great signing, however, for the Devils. He can be a 25 point player and potentially light an offensive spark for a teams bottom 6. He won't be any better than that, I'm sorry.

Still, fantastic signing for forward depth.

Good signing by the Devils. He's not going to replace much of what Parise's production was, at all, but he could be a pleasant surprise and the Devils seem to have good luck with these types of guys. Look at Sykora; he came in on a PTO, earned a contract, and had a great year after not being in the League for a year or two. Bernier had to sign an AHL contract until earning a contract with the Devils late last season but played a big part on that fourth line which was very good for them upon the line being tried together especially in the playoffs (the Scuderi hit aside).

In case he doesn't do much or doesn't even make the team, they got him on a two-way, which was pretty likely for any team that signed him anyway so at worst he makes Albany better if he can't make an impact in New Jersey.

Definitely a good move. He has the ability to be a 20-15-35 guy as early as this year.

Zubrus doesn't play LW that much. Kovy is a RW now though, I agree.

I was always under the impression that Henrique would move to #2C and Elias would move back to his regular position at wing.

Elias - Henrique - Clarkson

Can't hate on this at all. Low risk, high reward. 30 points would be lovely.

Good signing, if he makes the team and puts up 30 points I'd be very happy.

Alternatively, Albany desperately needs help of any kind, so if he doesn't make the team, no big deal.

Watch out for Dean McAmmond 2.0.

By which I mean how well McAmmond played with us.

Good depth signing and change of scenario will be nice. Ottawa was crowded and his 1-way was just too much for the club.

Good luck Bobby
