Also, only 32 starting QB's in the NFL and we got 16 players.. Draft wisely, fellas.

I honestly don't even see that as a viable option in a draft this big. We'll all have to draft smart.

No Peyton Manning in the first round for me like last year

Alright, I say it's about time we get draft order squared away. I was thinking about using a website like This and for parameters, saying:

16 random numbers
0 minimum
16 maximum
No duplicate entries

If anyone has any issues with that type of method, say something and I'll be glad to change it

As for the numbers assigned to users, I just went on order everyone originally posted in:

1. tyratoku
2. LordFletcher
3. Victorious Secret
4. Generic User
5. this providence
6. squidz
7. Wild48
8. Piffles
9. MNman
10. 00xtremeninja
11. Jarick
12. Avder
13. saywut
14. elnewby
15. forthewild
16. Tartan

So if I use that website and say the order generated is 12, 7, 4, 13, etc. the draft order would be Avder, Wild48, Generic User, saywut, and so on.

Does anybody have any issues with this type of method? I'll be more than happy to change it.

Rather have a fight to the death for the 1st pick. That method works too.

All I know is that I hope to pick in the 1-4 range or the the 14-16 range. In large drafts I hate being in the middle of the pack. Team always ends up mediocre.

Lucky you.

I did the randomizer thing just like I said:

Quote:
01 04 11 05 15 03 14 16 08 13 09 07 02 06 12 10
Specs: This table of 16 random numbers was produced according to the following specifications: Numbers were randomly selected from within the range of 0 to 16. Duplicate numbers were not allowed. This table was generated on 8/12/2012.
So our order is:

1. tyratoku
2. Generic User
3. Jarick
4. this providence
5. forthewild
6. Victorious Secret
7. elnewby
8. Tartan
9. Piffles
10. saywut
11. MNman
12. Wild48
13. LordFletcher
14. squidz
15. Avder
16. 00xtremeninja

I feel wrong because I did the randomizing, I did the organizing...and I get #1 overall...I might do a guilt trade and attempt to move down. Anyone have any offers?

LOLOL. This board is rigged.. Gopher did the same thing for fantasy hockey a couple years ago and ended up with #1 as well. Whoever organizes league ends up drafting #1. Weird!

But seriously, what luck.

Does Yahoo not offer the option for it to randomize for teams? I know we seem to always be finding ways to do it outside of the system.

Looking at the commissioner tools, I see that you can finalize team list, and I can set teams in a draft order by hand, but I'm not sure if it has a randomizer thing. At least, I can't find anything about it.

I could definitely be wrong though. After we get everyone signed up officially, I'll see if any new options open up.

So, I guess, take the draft order I posted with a grain of salt, people. It could change.
