Anyone going to take the Columbus challenge?
Actually if the past games are anything to go by, it won't be much of a challenge. Just sim all your games and you'll be in good shape because these games always seem to make Columbus do well.

probably best to randomize the rosters, that way it's fair for everyone, more trades that way too

If one can be in multiple leagues, a fun idea would be to have each NHL team board here play in a league together, playing for their board. Actually playing, like EASHL, so the league's Sharks team would be all HF Sharks board members, and the league's Devils team would be all of us playing.

Although I think "as is" is still well ahead. I'm assuming the people who haven't said anything are in favor of "as is" by default.

Not a great assumption. I originally did not post an opinion and as later posted it was not 'as is'.
I dont know why you would do as is - why not make the game more fair? Either way I will still play though. I am not the Commish

based on ea's track record, random rosters are not even close to a guarantee of being fair. i'd be all for a fantasy draft, but the game just randomly giving us a roster scares the hell out of me.

Oh, I am well aware that random would also give non even rosters, but it atleast gives everyone equal odds of not having a terrible roster. Like I said though, Im Boston - Im not gonna complain if we are sticking with rosters - I will happily go with whatever the majority wants.
