A few of us got together in DC for one of the playoff games and ended up taking over a local bar. I'd say Boston or DC would probably be two of the funner, easier trips to plan.
Either way I'd definitely be interested in it.
haha that was awesome. Everybody who walked by was like wtf. I think every Rangers fan was in that bar. It was great!
When we were working on arranging the HF road army trip to Boston 2 years ago.... Some things to keep in mind..... Unified travel and seat locations..... The excitement of a unified road trip is hindered when everyone travels separately and sits in different sections.... Ideally we need to find an opponent with enough available tickets in the same section.... Not always easy to do.... Plan as early as you can....
New Jersey isn't a road trip. Assuming the season starts on time and/or the game remains the same day, I'm making the trek down to Carolina in March with ih8theislanders, NYRFAN218, and possibly some others
I would say Washington is probably the best considering we would want to get a group of seats together and Philly or Boston might be hard to get a group of 50+ plus seats together.

If there aren't that many people going I suggest Philly, but if there are I think Washington just for the sake of ease like you said.
My soon to be wife and I try to take in a road game each year. Did Carolina 2 years ago (nothing but good things to say about that one) and Tampa last year (also enjoyable). Trying to figure out which city is best for the upcoming season. When we figure it out, I'll post on here and see if anyone is interested in going.

Love going to Buffalo. Lived there for a number of years and saw many games. Fans aren't too hostile either. As for wings: Anchor Bar for nostalgia or Duff's for the better wings. Pick your poison as Duff's is much farther from the arena.

My dad and I are only boston, washington, carolina and philly (at wells fargo, we were at the w.c) away from going to every arena on the east coast...whether any of those or devils/isles/w.e we'd be in
ive done toronto, montreal, boston, philly, pittsburgh, dc (jersey and the coliseum dont count) would love to add carolina to the list, hitch me onto the bandwagon boys
D.C would be very easy as well because we can take the Megabus. Thats what I did for game 4 of the playoffs. Took 4.5 hrs left from NYC and was only like $16.
Should make a poll for the cities maybe and see if one comes out on top by a lot.

I would love for us to be able to raid PIT, but it's 5 hours from me, and I'm in Eastern PA, it would be 6-8 hours for most of you guys probably. I've also heard it's not that nice there.

If you decide to do Boston, I may be down. Living in Hartford and could either meet up there or wait on the side of the highway and hitch on with someone. Ha ha
I think a bus would be much more fun in general, besides drinking you fools
Instead of meeting up there for the game, we ride together and get to know each other and have a good time on the bus ride, then **** on the other team's fans, and hopefully walk away with a W, and enjoy the bus ride back.
