Hahaha! Serious! But reminds me of when they had the hall of fame team with Malone, Shaq, Payton, Kobe, and got beat by the pistons! Still need to play and gel but if they do indeed get Howard they'll be pretty good. Buuuuuut again deal is NOT official and Stupid @ss stern can nullify this deal at the last minute! Hahahaha!

Well, they could have the 5th player be non-black.

Yeah.

All the players in hockey are so down-to-earth, right? Like Mike Smith attempting to use his hockey stick like a baseball bat and hit a home run with both Dustin Brown's knees and Mike Richards' head.

Or maybe the entire Coyotes' team forgetting what a hand-shake line is all about.

Or maybe this:

Yup...hockey players and coaches are soooo superior to those in basketball.

Kobe, Nash have WAY more left in the Tank then Malone and Payton I mean Malone was 41 and Payton was 38. Payton is the same age as Nash but even at 38 Nash is a superstar.

I knew it was going to happen. Specially when Dwight Howard refused to leave LA and missed his own Basketball camp lol.

I have no idea how this league stays afloat in most of it's markets, considering they are just feeders to the bigger teams.

How many teams have a legit shot to win the NBA title this season?
Well, it's just like MLB is a huge farm team for the Yankees!

Is that actually true? If it is, damn thats embarrassing. How do you even care if you live outside these areas.

MLB's parity is much better than the NBA's.

In the last 20 years the NBA has had 8 different champions. 15 teams have played in the finals.

MLB - 11 winners (with one season lost). 22 different teams have played in the WS

Other sports...

NFL- 13 winners. 23 different teams in SB
NHL- 13 winners (with one season lost), including 8 different winners over the past 8 seasons. 21 teams have played in the finals
EPL- 5 winners. 7 runners up.

So my statement about the EPL was a bit off, but in comparisons to the other major NA sports leagues, the NBA is by far the most top heavy.

Since 1992
-------------------
Bulls
Rockets
Lakers
Spurs
Mavericks
Celtics
Pistons
Heat

Going back to 1980 you can add the 76'ers, to that list for a total of 9 teams in 32 years.

I have no idea how the NBA is still alive in places like Atlanta, Toronto, Oakland, Memphis and Minnesota. These teams literally have no shot and are nothing more than feeders to the elite teams.

How many teams in the upcoming season have a realistic shot at the championship? Is it fair to say only Miami, LA and OKC. Rose's health is uncertain for the Bulls.

basketball survives in those regions because basketball is such a popular sport. air canada centre and the oracle are always generally more full than empty for example.

I want two titles next year, Kings and Lakers or Clippers. Get it done Los Angeles, it has only happened once before: 1988, when the Lakers and Dodgers both won.

No Galaxy love since they are the reigning champs and the Kings just won.

That'll be something incredible if there is a Dodgers vs. Angels world series, Clippers Vs. Lakers Conference Final, Kings Vs. Ducks Conference Final, and every series goes 7. Oh and Chivas USA vs. Galaxy!

you have to remember a lot of people don't care for soccer so they'll dismiss the championship since its not a big four sport.

but there are a few of us here who are also big time Galaxy fans.
