Yeah, in 2008 he did an interview and gave his playlist..

I do however hate that he is obviously being paid to sponsor certain headphone brands..

3 different brands of headphones were worn by him so far. Beats by Dre, Sol Republic, and some other pair..

Do you have a copy of the playlist? I did a search and apparently he likes rap, but I would like to see THE definitive list. (not that it matters, how is listening to music going to help my swim times, unless he is listening to some iso tones designed by NASA to give him super human abilities, I would like those abilities)

This was 2008:

Phelps said that he listens to Lil’ Wayne’s “I’m Me” as among his iPod playlist in Beijing. Other tracls he listens to are those of Jay-Z, Young Jeezy, Eminem and Outkast. In the 2004 Athens Olymics, he told NBC that “‘Til I Collapse” by Eminem was on his most-played list then. Phelps is said to even have created a playlist for the website Rhapsody that included the songs “Roses” by Outkast, “Burn” by Usher, “Overnight Celebrity” by Twista and “Smile” by G-Unit in 2005. So there it is for those Phelps fans out there. He is simply amazing for me.

And, according to another article:

This playlist contains 5 tracks that Michael picked exclusively for Rhapsody as a "celebrity hot mix" and 4 tracks by artists he has admitted listening to in recent interviews.

1. “Overnight Celebrity” – Twista
2. “Burn” – Usher
3. “Roses” – OutKast
4. “Till I Collapse” – Eminem
5. “Smile” – G Unit
6. “A Milli” – Lil’ Wayne
7. “Hustlin” – Rick Ross
8. “Hello Brooklyn 2.0″ – Jay-Z (featuring Lil’ Wayne)
9. “I Got What It Takes” – Young Jeezy

Is anyone else looking forward to men's open swimming tomorrow? American Haley Anderson won silver in women's today.

Canadian Richard Weinberger wins bronze in men's open water swimming! Congrats! Perhaps Canada's last medal in these Olympics?

This is the first time I've ever watched open water swimming. Holy ****, what a great display of stamina and endurance.

Hope not!

Pendrel is the gold medal favorite in mountain biking and we have a gold medal contender in Taekwondo.
