One guy not talked to much about (well other than the Flyers board and by people watching) is Shayne Gostisbehere. Peters said he has been the most impressive defender so far in the camp. Was a darkhorse to make the squad in the beginning, but his play should push him into a roster spot.

USA Hockey is gonna have a heck of a time whittling this team down.

The moves that led up to the goal were outstanding.

Always like to see behind the scenes kind of stuff with players. Should give all 3 episodes a watch, some funny stuff.

Probably the best Swedish forward, created quite a few chances on his own but did not really get much help from his linemates. Scored a goal in the third that was waved off for some reason, he also made some great dangles right before the final whistle.

I definitely think so. Not too much of a difference between most of the guys left, especially the forwards.
Edit: Did Fogarty/Matteau play today? If not, who were Biggs' linemates?

From the box score I'd guess it was Trocheck and Kerdiles.

Great to see Gostisbehere and Reilly continue to play so well. They both bring games that Housley will love.

Yea they have got to be close to locks at this point.
A LOT of good defenders for the US this year. Really tough to sort it out, but this is my personal opinion:
Trouba
Jones
Reilly
Skjei
Gostisbehere
Murphy
----------
McCabe
Grzelcyk
Haar
Seiloff
Welinski

Watched the game vs Sweden and Galchenyuk just makes it look so easy. He can do whatever he wants with the puck and is an elite passer. Reminds me a lot of Malkin. First time I've seen him play a full game and he didn't disappoint!
Seth Jones is incredible and I wish there were a way for the Habs to get him without having to suck again!

Agreed. Housley's probably having flashbacks watching Reilly play. If both these guys stay to form, we could have a really nice balance on the blueline. The skill level overall looks exceptionally high.

USA Lines for their last game today against Finland:
Matteau - Fogarty - Biggs
Boucher - Trocheck - Kerdiles
Vesey - Bardreau - Hartman
Pietila - Boyd - Blackwell
Di Pauli
Skjei - Murphy
McCabe - Grzelcyk
Sieloff - Haar
Welinski
Stolarz
Gillies
Scratches: Galchenyuk, Gaudreau, Miller, Kuraly, Noesen, Jones, Trouba, Gibson, Lucia, Reilly, Gostisbehere, Sparks, and Noesen.
No surprises on the scratches. Last chance for the staff to get a look at the rest of the players and if the tournament were to start next month, all those scratched players would be locks for the team. They all did their jobs to make a strong impression on the staff, now they just have to play well and keep that impression alive for the next 5 months.

Noesen's so much of a lock on this team they had to scratch him twice for emphasis.
