I'm still mad that Whitney ended up being like Poti. If he was handled right I think he could have been more like Kaberle.

If Whitney can ever stay healthy he'll be a really good player. He has been the last few years just not for very long.

God I wish more threads were like that. The only thing I've seen close to that are the old Toews threads after he was ranked 3rd in that TSN poll.

If we were to go back retroactively on those in wouldn't be as good since half the posts have been removed.

Let's have some ground rules here....

- We cannot discuss banned members. That goes against site rules. You can bring up these epic threads but don't just point out the banned members.

- And simply do not bump threads back to today. We can revisit some great moments on the board... but just don't bump 'em.

Ok, Cole. Just to make sure you aren't getting too big for your britches: remember where you started?

First Plus/Minus thread?

That, and it's a look back at a simpler time

Originally called 5 up/5 down. Here is the first one of that:

The thread got removed, so sadly can not link it, but anyone else remember the one where the girl posted asking where Ryan Malone hung out because she wanted to hook up with him? I and a couple of others almost had her go to the country buffet out toward the airport because that was where he hung out friday nights. That one was one of the funnier ones here. It even brought in one of the Cane's mods to let everyone know that although the girl had a similar user name (I think a letter off) she wanted to be sure everyone knew that it was not her.

As an aside, my girlfriend is mad at me to this day for 'ruining' her Ryan Malone puck bunny crush back when he was still a Pen, with one picture. I believe that is was this one:

My favorite thread not from this board was this one:

Does Derian Hatcher wear make-up?

His skin always looks so nice on the telly, it´s looks lean and soft, more than any other player and it looks like he is wearing make-up.
