I think a bus would be much more fun in general, besides drinking you fools
Instead of meeting up there for the game, we ride together and get to know each other and have a good time on the bus ride, then **** on the other team's fans, and hopefully walk away with a W, and enjoy the bus ride back.
I agree. We should definitely get a bus. A bus trip to Boston would be EpIc.
I also recommend Boston because we are VERY good against them, but at the same time they're not a push over team so a win is still very satisfying.
I'm pretty sure I remember calling Greyhound 2 years ago when we were planning a Boston trip, and it came out to be about $80-100 round trip for the bus. Can call again though because I'm sure it went up.

All I know is we can definitely take a bus out of Port Authority. Not sure how much it would cost though.

One problem: Some of us are still in highschool. I'll be a Senior and can definitely go on my own, not a problem, but my parents won't let me skip a school day for this. So can we try to plan this for a weekend game?
Friday, November 16th at Washington @ 7 PM would be OK (possibly). School gets out at 2:30, how long does it take to bus to Washington is the question....
I vote for Boston, honestly.
There's a 1 PM game in Boston on November 23rd, Black Friday. School is off.
To get that many tickets in one section is next to impossible in Van or Toronto.
If everyone promised me that they'll be interested, I could try something to make it happen. My friends and I got 9 seats together last time. I wasn't the one who got the seats but I'm sure if I jumped on it we could. I recommend against it though, Vancity isn't that fun.

Bus to D.C is 4.5 hrs. I think I voted Washington in the poll, but I'd rather do Boston as well. Never seen a game in Boston yet.

That is an ideal plan. Together before, during, and after the game.
ive done toronto, montreal, boston, philly, pittsburgh, dc (jersey and the coliseum dont count) would love to add carolina to the list, hitch me onto the bandwagon boys
Sounds good. Hopefully a different lockout schedule wont **** us over too bad.

You and someone was was vying for extra tix that I had b/c my friend who also lives out here in Vancity was not 100 sure if he'd be able to go and I remember some planning around what I'd do with the extra ticket if he wasn't going and you were candidate #2

The other game in Boston is also a Saturday at 7:00
Boston would also be more fun, because the crowd in Washington is pretty... civilized
And the fact that some of us (*cough* me *cough*) are still in high school, and what I'm seeing a lot of people starting college pretty much eliminates bars (unless the rest of you wanna be dicks, which wouldn't surprise me )

I'm a Senior in highschool. Applying to college right now, attending Fall 2013. I'm with ya buddy.
Boston was cool when me and ih8theislanders made the trip last January. It was on the expensive side because we took Amtrak instead of the bus which worked out well because it snowed that day. Fans there were awesome, no hostility towards us at all and a lot of them were welcoming. Wasn't too impressed with the arena but their scoreboard was beautiful.

Ohh right right. No worries about that one, I completely forgot about it anyhow . It was either Game 2 or Game 5 when I got screwed out of a ticket by some ********* MSG employee. That guy still makes my blood boil
