Team with highest combined trade value

If you added together the trade value of every player and prospect on each team, which one would have the most value? Just curious who people think is in the best situation.

Personally, I think Pitt (Malkin, Crosby, Letang), Philly (depth like crazy), Vancouver (Sedins, Kesler, and a great D) and LA (cup win brings everyone's up a little) are in the discussion for sure.

Pittsburgh has some good prospects too now.

If you want to talk an inverse relationship between trade value and results on the ice in terms of wins, Edmonton would have to win this!

Gotta be Pitts. I don't think they would trade Crosby and Malkin together for any single team in the NHL.

I thought about Edmonton, but I felt it was too much potential and not enough proven.

I agree it's probably Pitt. 2 best players in the world, plus some great prospects. Neal and Letang don't hurt.

Depends on how much negative value you give Martin.
But yeah, probably Pits, because the 2 best players in the world right now is gonna trump pretty much anything any other team in the league has to offer in terms of trade value,

Boston also could be in the running. Chara, Seguin, Hamilton, Bergeron, Lucic, Hornton, Krejci, Rask etc.

Chicago has some pretty nice pieces. But I would still pick Pittsburgh. A healthy Pronger all season may have been able to put Philly over them as you not only get the Pronger value but also Bryz probably would look much better.

Lundqvist
McDonagh
Staal
Girardi
Callahan
Richards
Gaborik
Nash
Stepan

And more. They have to be at least one of the most valuable. Pittsburgh prob takes it.

Pittsburgh or Edmonton, big edge to Pitt.

Crosby, Malkin, Fluery, Letang alone. C'mon. Then a bunch of great prospects added to their terrific depth players. LA is up there too, Kopitar/Doughty/Quick is real hard to beat, but there's Crosby and Malkin...

Pittsburgh, it's just a question of quality for quantity. Everyone wants the best and pittsburgh has likely the 1-2 best players in the world. Call it what you want but that brings more than anyone else.

Surprised I haven't seen St. Louis mentioned. They have a ton of depth.

I agree that it's Pittsburgh, however Boston for sure gives them a run for their money. Similar with NYR.

It definitely is not Edmonton. Pittsburgh or Philly IMO.

Id take LA, as they have pretty much all their key players signed to long term contracts many of which are cap friendly, which increases their value

If sidney crosby didnt have an injury history, there would be no discussion though

Take out Crosby and Pittsburgh is still neck and neck with NYR, Boston and LA.

Then put Crosby back in and....it's ugly

Pittsburgh. I'd trade half my team for Crosby and Malkin.
