His value will be pretty high. I don't see the Jets being interested in trading him anytime soon, he's our captain and loves the city.

Raymond, Ballard 1st.

But seriously, the best we could really do is maybe Hansen + or Jensen +.

Vancouver doesnt have much in the way of chip.

It would probably take more then teams would be wanting to pay.
The Jets wont give up their captain cheaply

Yeah I think Ladd is more valuable to Winnipeg that what they would get in a trade. I would love him on the Avs but I don't even want to speculate on what the asking price may be.

The Jets aren't going to trade their captain one year after he signs a long term contract and was instramental in helping along the players transition from Atlanta to Winnipeg. True North is trying to develop a winning culture in Winnipeg and loyalty is at the top of the list.

It entirely depends on WPG's needs. You'd have to fill those needs and then sweeten it significantly.

He's the most underrated player in the league in my opinion. Perfect example of a player who has infinite more value to his own team than he would in a trade.

Not meaning to trash the OP but he just isn't getting moved for reasons stated already.

After Winnipeg bought Atlanta Andrew was the 1st player to get on a plane and fly to Winnipeg ON HIS OWN DIME to meet with the new owners, tour the facilities, and tour the city to get a feel for things. During his trip he was texting to his teammates what he was seeing and experiencing (quite positive from what we heard) and shortly after Winnipeg was able to lock him into a long term deal as our captain and leader of the franchise. He is a cornerstone player and the most important glue person from a chemistry perspective.

its really the intangibles that make trading Ladd a non starter at this point. Doesn't hurt that he has had back to back 30 and 29 goal seasons but its really about allot more than that. If he got traded TNSE's credibility with the players would be shot.

On his own dime is pretty relative considering he makes 4mil a year.

But either way, he's the real deal. Great character. Great work ethic. He produces offensively and defensively. Definitely one of the most underrated players in the NHL. Not going anywhere.

Zajac OR Henrique
They are centers and he is winger so I'm not very interested. Love him, typical archetype of Devil player.

As has been stated a ton his value to Winnipeg is much greater than a return in a trade.

His stats are good, but hes so much more to Winnipeg than his stats, he is a true leader.

More than is necessary. Just like how Avs fans overvalue Stastny.

Yes, your usual package of scrap + scrap + 2nd won't get Ladd.

Everything he does on and off the ice is admirable. I think he's got Trevor Linden written all over him and he continues as captain and face of that team til he cqnt go anymore.

As others have stated, his value is higher for the Jets than other teams would probably want to give up.

He hits, fights, scores, is good defensively, and wears the C for leadership reasons - there are better players, but the intangibles he brings to the Jets means it would require an overpayment to land him. There's no such thing as a sure thing, but Ladd NOT being traded at this juncture is close.

I would offer a package of Percy/Blacker/Finn + Macarthur + Josh Leivo

I doubt the Jets would be willing to trade their captain for that however.

29 teams in this league need Andrew Ladd's services. He's a do-everything player with invaluable leadership and passion.

The Sens would give up a lot for this guy, but I don't believe we have the assets to acquire him. Winnepeg would probably only consider an offer for a budding #1 centre who is under 25.

Either way, Sens easily offer Zibanejad+ if there's a chance at this guy.
