Dominic Moore, Ed Belfour (in more ways than one), Murray Craven (not terrible, but in no way good), Bill Guerin, Dave Lowry (was he ever considered "good"?), Claude Lemieux.
I like the guy, but I'm surprised no Canuck fan has said Ballard yet. From #3/4 defenseman just entering his prime to a 6th/7th d-man who can't out-battle Aaron Rome.
Jeremy Roenick
Rob Blake (his second stint)
Teddy Purcell
Jason Allison
I would disagree with allison, he wasn't terrible just got that concussion and was not ever the same. I vote for Cliff Ronning, Anson Carter, Career ending Dan Cloutier!
Were the most notably not as good with the Sharks as with other teams.
Campbell was actually pretty good for the Sharks. It's him leaving in free agency to sign with the Hawks why Sharks fans hate him.

To be fair to Ballard, Rome was speculated to be a favorite of Vigneault's.
This thread screams Tomas Kaberle for both the Bruins and Hurricanes in recent memory.
Hatcher tore his ACL in his 3rd game with Detroit, missed almost the whole year, played a few games at the end, then got bought out. He gets an "INCOMPLETE" rather than an F. Though I was disgusted by his elbow to Matthew Lombardi's head in the playoffs.
Ehhh...every single time Hatcher touched the ice, someone got around him. I remember vividly how absolutely frazzled he was on D. It was frustrating.

If Ville Leino counts , he was wretched in Detroit.
Clear example why stats do not tell the story. We have a thread with numerous Vancouver fans giving explicit detail why Messier sucked.
Sundin joined the Canucks halfway through the regular season, for someone who missed 41 games he didn't play that bad. He was also on the 2nd line, so I'm not sure why you were expecting him to be a ppg player like the previous season. He was one of your best players in the post-season.
Troy Murray. Was a decent offensive player in Chicago, when he came to Ottawa he regressed.

Exhibit A as to how hockey doesn't matter on ESPN:
Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.
Tougher than I thought, The Habs are more about trading good players before they have a chance to mature then getting good players who play bad for them.

To be fair, no one can out-battle Aaron Rome. Hell, he's not even a forward yet somehow he'll probably steal Jagr's spot next season.
Brian Rolston the 2nd time. But he was old as hell
I thought I'd see him somewhere in here. I was real glad the Wild didn't sign him for what he was asking. Even though he had 31 goals that year, I was seeing signs of him slowing down. If he wasn't in a position to score he just wouldn't put in much effort.
