Koivu injury vs Berard injury

Are they similar? Because if they are then that is not very good new for saku koivu, i want to know your opinion on this.

No comparison. I don't even want to think about it.

Berard missed over a year, Koivu is expected to miss a game... maybe.

Draw your own conclusions.

Very hard to say considering that there are no official diagnostic so far.

I doubt that it is as worse though

I will tell you for sure in about 3 days

If it is going to take a few days before the swelling goes down before the doctors can run their tests, then how are we supposed to know? lol

I think you are missinformed.

Best case scenario is 2 weeks but its more like next year if at all. He will spend the next 2 to 4 days in the hospital.

One thing is certain. Koivu will not play tonight and the best-case scenario is that he is likely done for the remainder of the playoffs. Koivu will remain in hospital until the tests are done and while the Canadiens are not saying publicly, one source close to the team said Koivu still cannot see out of the eye.

There's absolutely no way to tell yet. They haven't even found out the entire damage to his eye, so potentially, this could be as bad, or worse.

Here's hoping he recovers as soon as possible...

How does he know what the best case scenario is? The sentence doesn't even make sense. The best case scenario can't be that he's "likely" to miss the rest of the playoffs. The best case scenario is likely that his career won't be jeopardized. That would make sense. But he couldn't know that unless he had information he didn't include in the story.
