Weaknesses: Physicality is inconsistent; has regressed offensively since his 36 pt season in 2007-2008; not the greatest in the offensive zone; can't QB a PP.

Weaknesses: Defensive effort is OK, but he will never be known for his defensive prowess...gets caught out of position on D a lot; has a frame to dominate physically but unfortunately does not have that innate mean streak to assert himself physically; consistency issues...looks all-world one game and is invisible the next; injury concerns (mostly hip issues), but that is mostly overblown.

How's Jiri Tlusty doing these days? Looks like he's picked up his scoring in Carolina.

Jets fan here, just want to further expand on what was previously said:

Positives:

- Willing to fight anyone
- Hits will probably be top 10 in the NHL for a while
- Brings it every single game
- Isn't afraid to hit superstars
- Good character on and off ice
- Can play on the PK
- Tries to play a puck posession game
- Good at wearing down the other teams top lines
- Can play a decent amount of minutes
- Doesn't play dirty
- Awesome haircut
- Fan favorite

Negatives:

- Lacks overall skill
- Very weak shot
- Known for missing the wide open net (SCF anyone?)
- Although he plays the PK (usually as the forechecker) he's not all that good at it
- Don't even think of putting him on the PP
- Can be out of position quite a bit, especially on the PK
- Although he fights anyone, he usually loses

-Low-ish Hockey IQ
-Has had a history of of going over the edge
-Shaddy past(Ward has helped starting to turn these around)

Borderline NHLer. We shall see what Troy Ward can do with him.

Nice idea, like it alot even though I dont agree one bit it's impossible for someone in the east to watch someone in the west and vice versa. I wish I only had 1-3 hours time difference... try 6-9 lol

Glass is ratherly average in his own zone with his positioning. Glass is a great locker room guy who knows his role.

Sorry it was not longer and if it is hard to understand

Oshie is a high energy forward with good offensive talent. He is more of a playmaker than a goal scorer, and the play will often run through him. His motor is extremely high, and he is willing to hit anybody. He has crazy good balance, and hands better than most give him credit for. He's extremely solid defensively, perhaps even better than Backes. He had off the ice issues, but those seem to be behind him.

He had a chance to skate with Eric Staal last season and made the most of it. Showed flashes of legit skill. He's nobody's idea of a superstar, but he looks like he may carve a niche as a lower end top-6 winger. A nice quiet success story.

Strengths
- Shifty moves in traffic
- Decent enough speed to generate chances
- Seems to work well with higher-end talent

Weaknesses
- Not much of a defensive player to speak of
- Didn't show much offensive ability when paired with more defensive-minded players. Basically, he's not going to create offense all by himself.

Jay is very sound defensively, but will never be more than a 3rd/4th line center. His offensive abilities are limited, and expecting anything over 25-35 points is not realistic (not sure how much he'll play or who's he'll be with on the Leafs). He was very very good on our penalty kill, and is a solid veteran presence. He was an assistant captain for us, and it was said he was a solid leader in and out of the dressing room. In short, defensive center who is sure to provide help on the PK and add some leadership to the group.

I honestly miss him more than I miss EJ. He was the perfect 3rd/4th line center. He actually had some offensive talent when he came into the league. Fantastic defensively, always gave his all.
