demo has a play now hut free skate and one new mode i probably shouldn't say because idk if its been announced, they don't care if i talk about things already seen by the media and published and i doubt they care about the ratings of players but modes they definitely care about

they also edited the d-men speeds and how long it takes them to make a hard stop and go the opposite way to make em faster so its not super easy to burn them like it was before
I actually like the free skate thing, is it practice mode essentially? Also are you allowed to give hints for this new mode or will they hunt you down and kill you?

they'd sue me hahaha i'm not even supposed to tell ratings buhh since a lot of people lie about seeing ratings I don't think they'd care if I tell about that since I really have no credibility and people may not believe me
yup free skate is essentially practice mode

man i think they did change the ratings cause a video came out today, one of those who is your HUT things and Crosbys a 90 and Malkin is a 89, so they probably just didnt want you seeing the real ratings. Heres the Link: http://www.easports.com/nhl/media/pl...eo/-6WjxpN-neM

so EA released info of the top 5 rated players in each position, and the ratings havent changed from what I remember so all the ratings I posted that I thought may have changed after playing the demo and seeing how low the Kings were rated are still the same.

Funny thing is Miller is a 92 above every goalie and Doughty is an average top d-man below Hamhuis Edler Weber Chara etc at 87 overall.

Oh btw demo is out August 21st

For the life of me i cant figure out how Miller has been rated the best goalie two games in a row? He's not even a top 5 goalie in the NHL and he's rated the best? Meanwhile Rask and Schneider are 83...

Still don't see how Miller is rated the highest Goalie in the game... also don't see how Ovi is rated higher than Giroux after the past two seasons he's had....

Ovechkin did slump a little but you cant say hes had bad seasons compared to other players, granted everyone expects amazing seasons from him every year but he actually had a better season than giroux 2 seasons ago, and last season giroux did better point wise but ovechkin was still #5 in goals in the league so i mean not a suprise at all that ovechkin is higher than giroux. Giroux hasnt been a star for that long

alright fair enough, so long as Giroux has something like a yellow 5 Star potential i'll be happy.

Well Malkin and Stamkos got shafted a bit just like the Kings team. They should be 93 with Ovie not 91 like the Sedins and yea Miller should be 88/89 with Ward Luongo Rinne etc. But EA usually ****s up ratings and over-rates a couple players each year. I remember when Regher was one of the top d-men at 88 ovr in 11 or 12. This year its Barker and Miller. Barker is barely NHL caliber (I personally dont think he is) yet he is rated as a middle of the pack defender at 80/81

I'm disappointed with Malkin's rating, but I got Datysuk as well so that made up for it

This thread kinda died eh? I hoping it's cause everyone is just happy with their roster.

its because everyones made a lot of moves that theres nothing really left to do for now.

I think I'm the only person who hasn't traded a major piece of my roster who won't be moved in real life. (Luongo is going to be moved in real life so I traded him to a team in contention for him)

Yeah, as long as people are still going to be taking part. Just got worried that people might bail, since so many new leagues popped up lol

I left two other leagues when i made my new one, but Silverback's was the 1st one i joined and you can tell he's taking this pretty seriously so i didn't want to leave his.

It does kind of suck that there's really nothing to do now and there really hasn't been since two weeks ago. It will be over 40 days from the time we made our trades to the time we actually get to play
