No! We lost again??

Now we are doing the same as New York. Both of us are 3 - 0. I don't have any hope for the stars now.

Seriously, the Avs just need the next game won, and we are out.

not a Stars or Av's fan but I'm cheering for you guys in this series because my fav player is Jason Arnott.
Now I havn't watched much of hte games but I keep hearing Turco is garbage and heard that he is 1-4 or 5 against the Av's in the playoffs. Would you guys start Hedberg next game?
good luck.

Damn I thought you guys had it. I hate to say it but you guys should get a new goalie if Turco keeps doing this. Anyways good luck in winning four straight.

You can't possibley blame this on Turco.

This loss is all on the team infront of him. Turco played his best game of the series.

Turco played fine. I got mad at him this game. And when I get mad at an opposing player he's usually doing great.

Turco made some amazing saves on the Avs 2nd to last PP in the 3rd period, and I thought the Stars had wrapped up the game.

What did everybody think of the Morrow penalty? I didn't watch the game, I was at work, but someone told me it was a weak call and that the stick didn't actually touch the Avs player. Is this true? (I'm doubting it)

officiating was bad both ways which is very unfortunate.

I don't know, I thought the Morrow penalty should have been called given how tight these first round series' have been called. I mean the Sakic hook earlier in the period didn't slow or hinder the Dallas players progress and he was whistled.

As for Turco, I think too many people are basing their opinions of him based on whims - looks like a few Stars fans around here refuse to put the blame soley on him. Truthfully, I thought Marty outplayed Theodore in both Games 2 and 3 (didn't see game 1) and has made some great saves on some open shots and hasn't coughed up many, if any, bad rebounds. I thought the Dallas offense was outperformed and couldn't sustain any flow and the defense hasn't played all that well at all. To many Avs forwards are able to do what they want in the Dallas zone because of players out of position or not clearing bodies out of the crease.

Turco has not been bad but he just never seems to have pucks hit him. The team let Clark score short in game 2 and then allowed a doorstepper for Brunette late to tie game 3. Mitchell gets hit and puck goes in. Just no bounces and they will need to do one of the toughest things in sport. Win 4 when down three. Theodore has been less a goalie than Turco but there is just a little bit more coming from the Av players.

While some of the goals against have been a team effort, make no mistake guys.....Marty Turco is not a playoff performer.

Unluckily for you, there aren't many goalie playoff performers around these days.

It's a shame this series should be 2-1 Dallas.
