I'd rather Henry, Werner, and the one eyed bandit take a chum bath and jump in themselves. The players, for the most part, will (or can) be fine if they are told by the FO to shut up and do what they're being paid for. With these stiffs enabling the player's sense of entitlement, it's not going to change.

My question is, will the 'beat guys' report it

I'm just waiting for this offseason when they feel like they need to do something big to keep the ratings and they sign headcase Greinke.

I was talking about owners bashing the team (or doing something similar). There's not a chance in hell that Josh Beckett would ever "worry" about the media reporting bad things about him.

They will, but only well after the story has been broken by a national media member with zero ties to the organization.

Won't happen because he won't come here. He's got zero interest in pitching in a market like NY or Boston, despite having a better chance of cashing in there than if he went small market.

Did anyone see this video of Lester throwing sunflower seeds in Ochoa's face?

Today's Bobby V spot with Fatso and Pete Meat was interesting. Valentine sounded like a guy totally detached from what was going on around him. Also still thinks they aren't done yet.

Well, I don't know if he actually believes they're still in it. To be honest, I think he knows this team sucks and isn't going anywhere--but he can't say that.

How many no-hitters have been thrown against TB in the last few years...at least 3 or 4 I think.

EDIT: 4...Mark Buehrle no-hitter on July 23, 2009...Dallas Braden perfect game May 9, 2010...Edwin Jackson no-hitter on June 25, 2010...and now Felix

The Mariners have two no-hitters this year as well.

There isn't a single guy I wouldn't offer up for him. He could be a true ace and franchise changer for the Red Sox.

This season can't end fast enough. But, hey, I'm still waiting for that run they are supposed to go on...

I can't believe I'm going to say this...

Assuming they don't trade him, I'm excited to watch Carl Crawford play next year..

Trading one of the few good guys who works hard would be horrible if they are trying to change the culture of the room. Hes not a $20m a year player but hes still a good player.

Would there even be any takers for him considering the Tommy John rumors? I just don't understand why he's still playing this year. It's over for this team. Shut him down and let him get whatever surgery he needs.

Gammons I think or maybe Tony Massarrotti said the team doesn't think he needs the surgery but dr. andrews told Carl he was going to need it. So this is going to end up being a battle soon. I
