Players that leave the defensive zone with the puck, cross the blue line into the offensive zone and just shoot... every single time. There are actually some good players that do it and it still drives me nuts.

The NBC guys acting like football Bradshaw and the gang.

Rule changes every year.

Teams burying contracts in the minors.

No trade clauses

Afternoon games

That after all the talk from Shanny all year. Weber just got a fine for grabbing someone by the head and cracking it into the glass. Thats not a fight, a knee or an elbow... thats a felony.

My pet peeve is when Brian Engblom is color commentating. He just keeps ripping the team that is losing. He's ok overall, just kind of picks on the losing team or if they do something slightly wrong. IDK just annoying.

The Toronto Maple Leafs

Seriously though, I don't like organ music. Probably just me though.
Also, way too many people wear Leafs jerseys to Sens games that don't involve the Leafs.

I cant stand it when people wear jerseys to hockey games with no relation to either team playing. Dont know why but it bothers me a lot when people wear a random jersey for the sake of wearing a jersey.

I was going to complain about Sens fans chanting "Leafs suck" at games that don't involve the Leafs but now I understand

12 year old girl music during the game. The last game i went to was dominated by Katy Perry music.

This one doesn't bother me as much, partly because I do it from time to time.

Heck, I wore my Scott Stevens Devils jersey to the Winter Classic in Philly last year. Some may call it a troll job, but I call it representing my team at a premier NHL event.

That is also true as well. Leafs and Habs fans will pay boatloads of money to watch their garbage team play. An overpriced Sens ticket probably costs less than a regular Leafs ticket at the ACC.

i know give me a break, they shouldn't be at a hockey game than.

i dont really mind SHOOOOOOT or the other things people yell, some of them are funny, however, the shoooot thing gets a little annoying.

-obnoxious, arrogant, idiotic, and uninformed conversations in the seats behind me

- gary bettman saying that "the league will not operate one more year under the current agreement"

-ranger fans that dont know a damn thing about the game (i got respect for the ones that actually know a thing or two)

-"tanking" like the team really lost on purpose for some 18 yr old kid who might not even pan out. I'm sure its happened before, but i highly doubt these guys do it on purpose.

-NTC, NMC

-nhl players misconception that that long island is basically a crappy version of NYC, or chose not to play there because of the "arena"

-player a is better than player b because they won a cup.

-west coast games at 10:00pm or 1030pm on east coast.

-12 dollars for parking

-lines at the bathroom

-1 hotdog and one drink costing 12 dollars total

-special coral at one spot at the arena designated for smoking

Refs who "let them play" (and cheat) in a close game near the end. Some consistency please, whether its playoffs, the 3rd period, OT etc.
This one! It doesn't matter if one team has 6 penalties and the other 2, stop issuing ''makeup'' calls and such. I do however like how they put their whistles away in the playoffs, but a ref should ALWAYS make the call if an infraction occured, regardless of the score/amount of penalties called previously.

Odd one, but... sitting near people who bring non-fans to games and spend the entire time explaining the rules of hockey to them.

Had season tickets in 2010-11, sat in front of a guy who took overseas business clients to the games. So, was listening to a completely clueless man trying to explain every whistle to a different person each week.

NBC showing a replay when there is a faceoff going on. I want to watch the damn faceoff, NBC! This was out of control in the Olympics (in hockey).

You know that tons of real, bonafide hockey players do this, right? I'd say that that's nitpicking a little TOO much my fellow Rangers fan.

Posters who make threads on the main board whining after every time a player on their team takes a big hit.

Fans that consistently blame the refs for why their team lost.

Self-righteous fans that get mad about what fans around them are talking about. Shut up guy, other fans paid for their tickets, they can say or make as much noise as they want. You don't own the arena.

Cliches about trades. "Sometimes the best deal is the one you don't make." Yeah we've heard this enough.

In fairness, you've been exposed to the "organ" they have at SBP, which sounds like the one from Radio Shack my dad bought me for Christmas when I was 8. What annoys me is they have different sound settings on that thing, one of which actually sounds like an organ - remember years ago when they used the organ for the national anthems? That sounded awesome, and I have no clue why they don't use that setting in-game.

That only irks me when they're asking really stupid questions, and when the guy is making up clearly incorrect answers just to sound like he knows what he's talking about. But aside from those instances, it's great to see new people legitimately taking an interest in the game, and I'll even pitch in on occasion to offer an explanation if the guy he's asking isn't sure. I remember one time, I was the only person nearby who knew why goalies bang their sticks on the ice at the end of a power play. I explained it to my friend, and the people around me overheard and explained it to their friends, and within two minutes, the entire section had learned something. It was pretty cool
