Jokipojat already won Mestis in 09/10, but decided to stay there, because they couldn't financially afford playing in SM-Liiga.
Like three more? Can Nizivijs play center like Lucenius? Of course, not. Can Nizivijs skate? Again no. Is Nizivijs at least better defensively? Again, a big fat no. If Lucenius, would get as much PP time as Aleksandrs, Lucenius could of have scored those three tap-ins last year too. Lucenius next season will be different animal, you can clearly see that when he will start scoring he will be just as crucial to our team like Sprukts have been in recent seasons.
J. Redlihs simply is a faster player, that's way his desperation scrambling doesn't look so sad as Lavins panic defending. Our D-corps as such were one of the worst in whole league last year and I fear one Carle won't be able to fix them. We need big, imposing and more importantly physical D-men like Kulda or Bartulis, but unfortunately it looks like it won't happen this season.

Rule was changed according to Bragin. Club can skate 4 guys born 91 or younger. Previous rule was one guy 91, one 92 and possible two kids 92/younger. It has nothing to do with Dinamo Riga´s situation, all guys are 91 as you write.

Riga fans are gathering in Prague. First troopers arrived yesterday, today they got multiple reinforcements and tomorrow the last of the batch will land (Moscow branch). The whole crowd will then journey to Bratislava. Expect some loud DR chants during both games!
Well, the first game was terrible...
Even though we played bad and should've played much better to win the game I did not understand some fans reaction, i.e. we should've won the game! Why? Does Lev have worse players than we do or smaller budget? Yes, they are kinda new... kinda cause Poprad Lev played already last year.
So it's a normal result IMHO, the game should've been better, it was awful but we should have known that the loss was possible, some of guys have never played in KHL before (or only episodically), so they were probably nervous and the same goes for the opponent.
As for our players, no one really played very well. Indrašis had a lot of stupid mistakes despite the pass for the goal, Karsums scored and was good but anyway not a miracle man. Jučers was solid in the net, if your goalie allows 2 goals on the road then your attack should be able to get something out of the game... our guys didn't!
I hope though that last year's suffering with only one scoring line won't continue... We have a good roster, let's show it already vs Slovan.
