Guys, Dustin Penner has informed the LA Kings that he would accept a trade out of LA.
Looking to swap similar position/talent for position/talent.

Mike Richards or Jeff Carter can be had, but it has to be one damn good offer as these guys are #1 centers basically.

Looking for a top dman and wing players

I know the player ratings are suppose to have a big overhaul between 12 & 13, so basing a trade solely on those numbers might not be the best idea. But on the same hand as it's the SIM engine, it does need to be taken into account. As does the fact that we're using a new version each year (so high player ratings could potentially see drastic changes from year to year).
In the first post of this thread there is a link to the first discussion thread. Click on that link and in the second post of that thread is a giant chart with all players overalls.

You can use capgeek.com to see if a player has any kind of clause. If he does then just try to use common sense. Like if Ovechkin has a NMC then he's not going to waive to go to say CBJ.

Pretty sure players cannot be demoted until training camp where, at that point, they have to go through waivers.
Oh well then. The Rangers know that no team is going to want to come close to that cap hit.

Looking to swap Krejci for a winger of equal skill, or even Krejci+ for something better

It's better to play with injuries off. I know that injuries add to the realism but I'd rather let the game decide who has the best roster without adding in the element of injury.

If someone feels differently please feel free to let me know.

Should we assume all RFA's are qualified automatically?

I don't know what you could get, but I can tell you what you should get for Scott Hartnell: a muzzle and a haircut.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to mention something that was brought to my attention but I'm not really sure how many of you are aware of.

You are allowed to use offer sheets in this game. I just need to work out the logistics out what the value system will be (if I'm just doing draft picks).

I'm just not sure if everyone was aware of that.

What's the process to announce RFA's who've signed? Have worked out two deals with Kershaw for two of my players (one RFA, and one extension).

Does he announce them at some point? Me?
