Bryz apparently will wear Bauer gear next season.

if Bryz ignores the media spotlight & the Flyers play team D like they did in March, I'm confident Bryz will have a great year.

I think it'll look good with the away jersey. plus, the white pads will make it harder for shooters to tell what is net or something like that

I love my pads and gloves by them. Skates too. Their sticks suck though.

Had them for a season, hated them. Their goalie equipment is awful in my opinion. I'll never wear Bauer(save skates) again.

I made a fanpost about my recent thoughts on Bryz.

http://www.broadstreethockey.com/201...lovs-down-year

Comment on it here to generate hits for our beloved HF. I also ran it by Bill Meltzer (the best) to see what he thought.

Criticism welcome. I could use it.

My stuff isn't the new stuff, the really squared off box pads. I have older model pads with the jenpro material and the rounded inner toes. It almost looks like the old stand up pads. They've been pretty great to me, but this is older stuff (circa 2007ish).

I had the rx series and i truly despised them. Even more so after my new pads.

I also kind of hate Reebok.

According to Sports.ru, Bryzgalov is talking to CSKA (Moscow) about possibility to play there in case of lockout.

I have this exact set with matching girdle mask. They've been pretty good to me so far, but to be fair they're the first time I've ever invested in a pro level pad, so everything I'm comparing them to is a far cheaper product.

I had a pair of Bauer 101's in my HS ice hockey days..they were ok. We just used to make fun of the tools wearing Bauer Turbos....we referred to them as Bauer Nerdos. I remember shattering some kid's Bauer nerdo skate into a million pieces with a shot. I have no clue what Bauer was thinking when they created that sad skate....

I don't suppose that he will love it there and want to stay there FOREVER???? If we could get out of that contract of his, that would be better then if we signed Webber

NEWS FLASH: Loss of Bryzgalov, for any reason, would mean that the following starter would be:

And the guy holding him would still be the back-up.

Flyers goalie Bryzgalov: 'I'm skinny and prepared'

Bryzzlestick is in form...and ready. Too bad we have a lockout brewing.

Seems the Bobbyclarkefan was on to something about his weight afterall...

Quote:
The start of the NHL season is threatened by a league-imposed lockout, meaning the Ilya Bryzgalov Revival will probably be put on hold.

Bryzgalov is trimmer, more comfortable with his surroundings, and eager to start his second season with the Flyers - and show more consistency than in his sometimes-tumultuous, sometimes-spectacular first year with the club.
