I work as a Court Security and Screening Officer in a Judiciary Courthouse during the day. At night I work as a Machine Operator for Revision Military (http://www.revisionmilitary.com/. Yes that is 2 40+ hour jobs a week. So on average about 90 hours a week! Awesome! Not. In addition to going to school to get my Associates. Only two classes left. This is been a 10+ year assignment!

I am a procurer of rare antiquities.
Last job was in Peru. Found a legendary piece of quartz.

Going back to school I limited my income for 4-5 years. It really isn't that fun. Long term it's great but short term it really isn't. I never go out, no money.

Why not go for the money and going to school part time ? It takes more time to finish, but at least, you keep the money rolling.

31 $ an hour (shop, manual labor) + HEC on the weekend.

I Hate my job (too repetitive) but at least the money is there.

Very impressive. Make sure you take time to maintain your health: i.e. cardio workouts a few times a week, and a few hours a week of farniente. Burnouts are nasty.

I had that type of life in the first year of my postdoc research stint in Japan, when I had not yet finished my thesis and was working on it every evening, plus Saturdays and half of Sundays, while also doing my Japanese homework at every meal. Came very close to burning out myself.

Think about how much you've played over the duration of your life.

Nothing. I'll always have a place in my heart for that story about the wal-mart employees.

It's just that he said Port Cartier is far from everything. And it is, but.. you know.. glass houses.

I'm a student. I have a Cisco certification and now I'm taking Graphics with web design and programming. I'm also trying to teach my self 3d modelling. Does anyone know where I can get private courses for that?

You could play with Blender, which is publicly available (in binary form I think -edit correction, also open-source as well).
http://www.blender.org/education-help/tutorials/

Edit: if you really want to have fun, you can play with 3d dynamically deformable scenes, which is the basis for interactive medical simulation, in which case, you might want to play with SOFA, which is truly open-source. http://www.sofa-framework.org/ http://www.sofa-framework.org/tutorials .

Same , it's the only game I play since the last COD with Zombies (come on killing Nazi Zombies is just too much fun).
I did full-time school (4 classes) and work (35-42 hours IT networking) and my grades did suffer my gpa went from 3.7 to 3.1 and I was sleeping less then 5 hours a night. My body got used to the idea of not sleeping but now that I don't work as much I sleep a lot more and never really feel energized.
