According to The Goalie Guild (which is pretty much the reference for this sort of thing) Hackett is a mere 6th (behind Markstrom, Holtby, Lack [seriously wtf], Lehner, Poulin), but they have Kuemper at 17th. Gustafsson isn't in the top 25 and I'm not interested enough in his ranking to pay for the full top 150.

I love those rankings. Where do they have Pogge listed?

At one point, years ago, they had Justin Pogge listed in the top 10. I saw him play while he was in the A and I was all like...

"WTF!? This kid sucks!"

Kampfer as he is close to NHL ready although he likely only tops out as a third pairing guy and possibly PP specialist...pretty sure thing.

I'm voting for Chay Genoway because I can; some people take these rankings way too seriously. Fun to make a case and advocate but opinions vary...

Goalies are underrated in these polls because the position doesn't carry much NHL value. Too many ways to find decent goaltending. It's an over saturated position.

Voted for the Swiss kid because I'm pretty neutral about most of our remaining prospects.

Get it? WWII joke.

I got a chance to talk to Justin (the guy who runs The Goalie Guild) at one of the prospect scrimmages and he was very impressed with Gustafsson and Hackett (Kuemper was injured and didn't play). Just throwing that out there.

Yeah looks like we're losing steam. I'm going to start voting based on looks alone next time around.
