I give up, yeah he's the best center ever. Buffalo should give every roster player they have to acquire him.

If he looks like the old Getz next year, Then I'll admit I was wrong and he's worth giving the farm for, If he pulls a stinker and looks as slow and lethargic as last season, I expect the same.

are you saying if they cant sign them the start of this season they will let them walk away without getting anything in return???

I dont think so....

If they cant sign Getzlaf or Perry the trade them before the deadline.

The only way we trade them is if we have another lottery type season. If we are anywhere near contention then they will stay.

How about we tone it down a bit with this:

To Edm:
Drew Stafford

To Anaheim:
Sam Gagner
Drej Sekera
Luke Adam
2013 1st

To Buffalo:
Bobby Ryan
Tony Lydman

i think anaheim says no since that really doesnt address their desire of a nhl ready second line center, luke adam is a nice young player but i dont think he's second line ready, maybe if you flipped him with hodgson but then buffalo might think its too much

Sekera isn't needed. I'm not sure why people keep offering him to us. We have six top-four defensemen at the moment, and we'll have Clark, Vatanen, and Lindholm in Norfolk.

Can Stafford play the left side? Because right now the Oilers top three RW's are Eberle, Yakupov, Hemsky. Paajarvi also plays better on the right side. Doubt Anahaiem even considers this though.

Gagner will not be the centerpiece the Ducks trade Ryan for. I could see the Ducks being interested in bringing Gagner in to play WITH Ryan, but not for Ryan.
