adopted team

so Stars fans, we'll be out of the playoffs by Friday, is there a team which has your support for the rest of the season ?

i think i'll go with Edmonton (or maybe even the Wings, if they'll beat the Oilers) in the west and Carolina in the east

Meh, I can't stand Ottawa... I dont know, something about their demeanor and the way they handled themselves this season (running up the score), so arrogant. I remember hearing a soundbite the other night on OLN of Mike Fisher when they were up by 3 goals in the 2nd and said something along the lines of, "great goal boys, that ought to wrap up this series". Guess what Mike, this series still has PLENTY of hockey left, and you're beloved Sens are only up 2-1.

Dont get me wrong, I love their talent as much as the next guy, and theyre a team that demands to be respected - but they're not nearly as good as they think they are, and frankly are overrated. I guess I'm a stifler for modesty, oh well... but I'd just LOVE to see them get spanked.

Anyway, I'm going with Anaheim in the West and Buffalo in the East.

Stars fans. dont give up yet. i have a feeling things are going to get interesting in that series. would it be a bad idea to start hedberg. put guerin with modano and morrow. put lehtinen arnott and jokinen. i have a funny feeling things are going to get heated in that series. dallas wins game 4 then heads home for game 5 and take that. all of a sudden it's 3-2. who knows

I admire your optimism and hopefully you will be laughing in our faces when the Stars win Game 7 in the greatest comeback in modern NHL history.

However, if you've seen these Stars play in this post-season you know we won't even win the game on Friday much less four in a row. This team just doesn't have it.

I, of course, will be cheering for the Preds to comeback against the Sharks.
