Marek Tvrdoň was running away the vote so we can call this round. Sarcastro will be happy to see Lashoff is finally being added. Thinking this will be another two day round.
Sorry for the mix up no idea why it didn't come online right away. Please use this voting thread hopefully the mods will lock the other pretty quickly.
Marchenko is so much better than some of the guys in front of him that our poll is getting absurd.
Jensen? 22 years old before the season is starting and he's headed back to college.
I also rank LM Aubrey ahead of Andersson. While Andersson is closer and probably has more skill, Aubry is the better skater and plays with the kind of intensity you want on line 4.

So because jensen is taking a different development route, that knocks him down a peg?

I love Marchenko as much as the next guy, but we won't know how good he is until he is healthy and producing in the KHL, instead of juniors.
What is different? He's doing fairly well against younger competition.
I don't have much hope for a guy who is going to be 23 before he event starts in the AHL.
If this guy was anygood, he'd be in Grand Rapids this year.
You who constantly points out skating should be a big Jensen fan. He will make the NHL for that reason alone in my opinion. He is older but defensively he is pretty sound with some very nice scoring punch. He asked the Wings about turning pro, early reports to the off-season had him wanting to leave for the AHL this year. The Wings thought he would benefit from a big junior year. I also think it is to give Almqvist his last chance at turning around his struggles and seeing what he is offensively. A role Jensen would challenge him for. Realistically unless Marchenko stays in Russia something is going to have to be answered by trade. Jensen, Marchenko, Sproul and Ouellet are all too good to go to the ECHL. They are all on track to being in Grand Rapids next year. When you throw in Nedomlel somebody is going to have to get moved or take an overage year the best I can follow. That is also assuming Nicastro doesn't have a turn around season. Grand Rapids looks loaded for bear without enough spots entering next year, some answer is going to have to come from the Wings on that.

Which is another reason why Jensen should in the AHL now.
We're going to rot our 20 year olds next year so a 23 year old can get his icetime? Sounds like a bad plan.

With 29 games played in the K the last 2 seasons its no surprise that Marchenko isnt getting votes over Jensen, who has a very legit claim to this spot and is doing great in the NCAA
