I can't be the only one excited about the start of the EPL season, can I?
With you on this one tbcwpg and Blues10 (Blues for dreaded Chelsea) is probably with us. Historically I get more into it after Christmas but when the Jets left last time I filled the void with my English footie.
I am going to be in Scotland on a golf trip in a few weeks where we end up in Newcastle and I am hoping to catch a game although I haven't looked at the schedule.

When I was in London last year I really really wanted to go see some EPL. Any game, it didn't matter, just to be at a soccer game in England. Couldn't get tickets to anything in London (obviously don't know about anywhere else), they were all sold out before we could get any, in minutes. We didn't care what teams, two worst in the league for all we cared, but nope nothing.
So good luck

I'm a chelsea fan as well as Blues, been so since I was 5. When I was in London last it was opening weekend and Chelsea were at home, had to buy a membership 2 months before the trip and bought the tickets a month in advance. Was worth it though since Chelsea beat West Brom 6-0 that day.
So just to sum up my advice for ps241, buy in advance if you want to go.
Also progress on the Disraeli is coming along nicely. Love the line they are taking into downtown on the new section you drive on, it might be as beautiful as the drive in on the Provencher bridge. I love when you turn the corner and all of downtown lays before you.
If you gents are planning a trip to the UK, come drop by Dublin/Cork.
I'm doing a four month surgical rotation here in Ireland until December before I return to Winnipeg (or decide to go to India through Doctors Without Borders).
In other news, my new phone is in Winnipeg now, Canada Post was actually quick. I'll be a cool kid with an Android in a day or two.
And by that time, a newer, more technologically advanced phone will be out, making yours out of date and forcing you to spend more money to upgrade under the tremendous amount of peer pressure you youngin's feel just to "fit in". It's a vicious cycle that never ends!
See, when you are over the moon like myself and Jet (), you just don't give a **** anymore about keeping up with every single little advancement in technology, and buy whatever is affordable and gets you what you need out of life; to hell with being "cool"

I don't know if you're being sarcastic and all, but he didn't buy an iPhone.
