This is the best Summer ever. And so looking forward to October 12, to hoist the banner. Looking more like that might happen, as the two sides get closer in labor negotiations.
Damn man! My beautiful blonde 10 year old daughter just informed me that she accidently spilled a Dr Pepper all over my 2012 SC Program that was sent to me by a great buddy of mine last month. I cant, for the life of me find a replacement on ebay or anywhere in the interwebs to buy a replacement. Anyone know WTB a new one? Blows man...BE LOWS!
Being a uber-anal "completist" I NEED all pubs from the run!!! 4 wont cut it! Needs all 5 major Pubs!!!
Please help before beatings ensue!
Edit: Opps, I posted this in the wrong thread. My bad. (Tony, please delete this as Ive already c and p'd into the proper thread. Thanks)
Just like Jim Fox talked about on the post game after 6, rattled off all the titles he has won at all levels, and said something to the affect of "winning follows this guy".
I could swear that the thing seems alive...it really is amazing to see this trophy in a million different locations, always standing majestically, no matter where it is, no matter what time it is.

Who is from The Soo?
I never paid attention to all the places players took the cup before but I was in denial when the Hawks won it and never liked the Bruins. Before that, no Twitter.
Ms. Woof -- I think Nolan is from up that way (we met Ted at a game in the Soo a year or two ago).

The only thing missing from Richie's resume is a World Championship (and to do that, his teams would have to miss the playoffs):
Memorial Cup (Canadian Hockey League champion)
OHL championship (which qualifies your team to play for the Memorial Cup)
World Junior Championship (gold and silver)
World Under 18 gold medal
World Under 17 gold medal
Calder Cup
Olympic Gold
Stanley Cup
One of the winningest ever - I think Niedermayer may be the only guy with more.

I think that only happened to him once to him so far, his teams have been in the playoffs every year.

Niedermeyer has the world championsihps but not hte Calder Cup
On draft day this past June, Bob McKenzie called Richie the 'winningest player in league history' and that 'nobody's got more team hardware in their trophy case than him, he's pure champion'
Over this past weekend, the NHL said the same thing in an article about him in the Summer of the Cup series , that he's the only player in NHL history to win championships at every level.
The only one...that rocks...
And he's only 27
and he's a King...
I'd bet that by end of season 2014 he's got another cup and gold medal to add..

So impressive, especially since he has years ahead to get more!
I know Wendell Young has all the championships (CHL, OHL, AHL, NHL, and IHL), but doesn't have Olympics and World Juniors (I'm pretty sure he wasn't on those teams back in the day).

What a resume for Richie.
Edit: Yup, it's Nolan with the Cup today, just saw some pics!
