Voting en masse to get our players in the All Star game is a tad different, don't you think? The All-Star game may be viewed as meaningless/stupid/etc but all that voting had real world implications in that it brought more Sens players to it. Stuffing online polls that have no such benefit is a bit silly, as the only result is... what? Winning the poll.
Alternatively: Maybe if the Oiler fans had more team spirit they would have had more people in the All-Star Game
So... you're saying we're worse than Oiler fans because we only ballot stuff when it's a more serious event with real consequences, like sending players to a prestigious event rooted in hockey history, rather than a TSN fan poll where the biggest repercussion is TSN analysts having to figure out ways to make Eberle and Hall seem better than any other players under 25 in the league, including Crosby, Giroux, Stamkos, and Karlsson?
See how stupid it is to argue about this?
HF as a whole led the charge through the Rory Fitzpatrick voting campaign, why the hell does HF care when Oilers do the same for Hall and Ebs during a meaningless TSN poll?
