If Niittymäki will stay healthy, and that's a pretty big "if".

True, but Niittymäki isn't supposed to be the nro.1 goalie so if he can play around 20 games and cover for Engren (who is absolutely one of the best goalies in the SM-Liigan ATM.), I'd say We're doing pretty well on that department.

I doubt that's the only thing he was offered, one source on twitter claimed yesterday that TPS had claimed a Canadian winger and was competing for his deal among onther SM-liiga teams and I doubt they all offered "only" try-outs. Why he chose TPS is anybodys guess though, I'm glad that we can see how he performs on the big ice before handing him a big paycheck (which I'd imagine he is going to get).
