I had a LS with a bunch of members just like me; high level but didn't have the time to commit to an HNMLS, aside from a select few. So whenever somebody needed an item, we usually had the manpower to get it. I'll never forget the time we had got like 4 pairs of dune boots for members haha. ToAU missions were still coming out when I stopped playing, around 2007, and we would always do those together as well.
ToAU was a flat out fantastic expansion in my opinion.
It was except for the fact that it ended the SC + MB parties. Ya the XP was faster but that's when the game started losing some of it's charm.
Contains free codes for 2 (I think, there is at least one) free copies of the game as well because it's the collector's edition. Also has a few other goodies, like a free authenticator.
That's one of the few websites I can find it in stock xD

I JUST saw that a few minutes ago and came here to see if anyone posted it. I just bought one.
In other hilarious deal news, there is a PC store a few miles from my house that is selling boxes that contain Final Fantasy 11 + every expansion + a free month for $1.99. Yes, that's one dollar and ninety-nine cents.
Rather... I'm sure I could walk into a Best Buy or Futureshop and find the game for cheap. I'm sure they have a bunch of copies they want to get rid of.

That's the quandary, most of those places are saying they are sold out of copies
Oh! By the way, if you want to test out how well your computer can run 1.0, or if you want a graphics benchmark to test your PC, the FFXIV benchmark is located at http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...nchmark01.html
Ya I totally checked like 3 EB's, a Best Buy, 2 Walmarts, a Future Shop and NOTHING.
They sell old games.. But I'm pretty sure they sent those FF14 copies back to Square haha

Nah, in Canada for a long while, the game was 9.99, and I know a lot of people that bought multiple copies (my friend bought 6 copies for instance) for people in the US. That and SE hasn't been restocking distributors since March.
Nevermind what I said, SE just issued a field destroy order to their retailers, which means if you want a copy of FF14, get it now cause it'll be destroyed otherwise o.O
